Ganeshkumar Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 oye choke de fattey :aha: :hysterical::hysterical:
gaurav92 Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Yeah massive choke again from 152/4 to 189, they really are staying up to the reputation of Chokers
prinzo Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 South Africa did not choke , India played really well to win the match , the bowling and fielding was top class. Thats how SA lost the wickets If you say South Africa choke then you are undermining India performance on the day.
vvvslaxman Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 and you also called UV..walking wicket in 2nd ODI :giggle: Dude. i told.. i just wanted him to get into good form. He has been out of form for a while. I am glad he is back in form. But we need few more innings like this to feel secure about world cup chances
vamos_rafa Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 ‘Chokers' tag will follow S. Africa: Dhoni South Africa's cricketers have tried hard to get rid of the ‘chokers' tag, but try as they might, they haven't been able to shed it. The one-run defeat on Saturday at the Wanderers, after being in control of the chase, reinforced the perception — that's the thing about perception, it's conveniently reinforced and seldom reformed. “It's one thing that will always follow them whether the opposition says it or not, like India and our record in tri-series finals,†said Indian captain M.S. Dhoni. “It's one thing that will haunt them and you can't really run away from it.†South African captain Graeme Smith wasn't asked about the C-word; a face like thunder tends to prevent such questions. But he did allude to it when criticising his batsmen. “We weren't smart enough, especially with the bat,†said Smith. “I don't think it was a free flowing wicket, it was not easy to play your shots, and you had to work hard out there. We needed to be a bit more solid, instead of searching for those glory shots.†Disappointed Smith was disappointed not to complete the job himself. His anguish when he was bowled by Munaf Patel off the inside edge was plain for all to see. “If I could have batted through, it would have been wonderful,†he said. “I don't think I gave my wicket away though and we still should have got over the line.†India's bowlers did superbly to prevent South Africa's batsmen getting over the line. They also had the fortune required in such enterprises. “Munaf's early breakthrough really mattered,†said Dhoni. “Harbhajan's contribution was really important. The South African batsmen had momentum, but deciding not to take Harbhajan on meant they lost a bit of momentum. That brought us back. After that everybody contributed. “Munaf's contribution was brilliant. He bowls really straight, varies his pace really well, and I think he deserves to be Man-of-the-Match.†MSD :two_thumbs_up:
saneindian Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 If you listen to the press conference, this does not even sound as if MSD is giving it back to SA> MSD was actually more defensive saying we too have a bad record in finals and are asked the same questions before every final we reach. Same with SA.

jibranpatel15 Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 well it was right call by MSD & SMITH as well. Had SA not tried to finish game early and play folse shots that was easy winning game but it all started with DUMINY who gave away his wkt and then MILLER & BOTHA was realy unlucky to be given out & STEYN somehow panicked n got runout. After all any otner day those 2 last wicket balls would have easily gone for 4's any other day but thats luck & u can't do anything against it rather than just watching it. :good:
