nballa Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 now he's going to convince one of the idiotic ipl franchises to go on a senseless bidding war for a couple of buddies back home.

Texy Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 now he's going to convince one of the idiotic ipl franchises to go on a senseless bidding war for a couple of buddies back home. yup right on the money! they see India nothing but a cash cow in cricket and they will make sure to get every dollar out of it I remember last IPL ...John Buchanan had like 50 staff members and a lot of them from Australia from his home province..he even hired his own son to do "mental conditioning" watever the fk that means...
IKnowU Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I remember last IPL ...John Buchanan had like 50 staff members and a lot of them from Australia from his home province..he even hired his own son to do "mental conditioning" watever the fk that means... :headshake: He took all the youngsters and rookies to Australia to give them a invaluable experience and play against the local teams here in Australia. I went to one of those matches, and you see the players who came here were literally in awe every minute they spent time here in Australia.
nballa Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 and you see the players who came here were literally in awe every minute they spent time here in Australia. desis who go to western countries on visits are usually 'literally in awe' everytime. i can understand how its unusual to see no garbage on the streets. vendors selling lassis in the middle of roads, buildings without paint chipping off or clothes hanging out to dry etc etc. i know i was.
Mamu Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 :aha: my friends met him here in a pub  Which one Shivani? Not that I know all of them -- considering there were not many when I left BBSR.
