Let's not even go there. You have a bunch of Saravanas only.
Dude, I am not talking about the restaurants, I am talking about the food. Btw, I don’t know if you live near the tri-state area. But i once went to a kannadiga restaurant in NJ - Hoysala… Awesome food! :nice:

* First reference to Dosa occurs in the Tamil Sangam Literature[2] from around 6th century AD.[3][4] The Sanskrit classic Manasollasa written in 1051 AD by Western Chalukya king Somesvara III describes Dosai.[5] * Eminent food scientist[10][11] K. T. Achaya said that Dosa has a history of two thousand years in Tamil-speaking regions.[12] * Edward Farnworth mentions the first reference to Dosa in Tamil Sangam literature in the sixth century A.D.[13] :dontknow:

:hitler: It was invented in Udipi. They were referring to the Udipi dosas. :hehe: Either way, Dosas rock. But, they are not widely available here. :hitler:

I have been to south Indian restaurants in Hyd. They absolutely suck when compared to even smaller local ones in Bangalore. Ever been to MTR, Uphara Darshinis, Pallavi, Coffee House on MG ROad, Janata hotes (bunch of them), SI food rocks there. You are comparing Andhra-style restaurants in B'lore with some popular ones in Hyd, obviously you will get better biriyanis, guthivankaya koora in Hyd compared to B'lore. But for any North Indian south Indian restaurants, B'lore is miles ahead. Forget about talking about continental, chinese. First of all, there is no eating out culture in Hyd. I don't know why we are even comparing. I thought you will come up with something that I didn't taste in Hyd. Now I know, I didn't lose out on anything in Hyd.
Oh my...chill man....you said it all...no eating out culture in Hyd :giggle: Why did you remind me of MTR and Darshini ....that boondi on sambar rice and call it some bisi bele bath...you are reminding me of my misery in Bangalore...gimme my humble Hyd mess anyday :((
