Ram Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 So I will take it that you don't have a clue on how to do it! :hysterical: Thanks! Yes, I have no clue on how to answer a pathetically dumb question to begin with. :haha::haha:
zen Posted February 12, 2011 Author Posted February 12, 2011 Thats some great mullah logic there.. :hysterical::hysterical: Your challenge doesnt DESERVE a response dude, which is why, not a single poster, NOT ONE, has bothered to respond? How hard is it for you to understand? :hysterical: That's fine, if my challenge doesn't deserve a response then don't respond. This is not a compulsory exercise :P What I am saying is since you think my number is wrong, you would know the correct answer, so what it is? On one hand, you are saying that this can't be done and on the other, finding faults with my calculation as if you know the answer. Puk Puk Puk :hysterical:

Trust me, I wouldnt bother to, even if you pay me to. Thats how dumb a question is.:cantstop: READ MY LIPS - DUMB QUESTIONS DONT DESERVE ANSWERS, LIKE NONE OF US HAVE BOTHERED TO RESPOND. :hysterical:
Ram Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Guys, here comes the prediction! Ind vs Eng @ B'lore If Ind bats first: 295 If Eng bats first: 277 For how did I arrive at the number, see below: 1. Games considered for Ind: last 2 D/N games at B'lore. Ind is used to these conditions so it's performance in last 3 years, i.e. 2 games gets the weightage 2. Games considered for Eng: last 5 D/N games in Ind. For Eng, the data sample size is small so it is better to take its performance in last 5 D/N games in Ind. Ind: Ind's batting avg (6.87*50*2)+Eng's bowling avg(5.53*50*5) divided by 7 = approx. 295 Eng: Eng's batting avg (5.02*50*5)+Ind's bowling avg (6.84*50*2) divided by 7 = approx. 277 Probable result: Ind wins :two_thumbs_up: Note: The data is available for everyone to use, but the interesting thing is how you use it. Thanks! :haha::haha::haha: I cant seem to get enough of the sheer dumbness of this post.. Its a prediction, to beat all other predictions!
zen Posted February 12, 2011 Author Posted February 12, 2011 Yes' date=' I have no clue on how to answer a pathetically dumb question to begin with. :haha::haha:[/quote'] That's fine, I never asked anyone in particular to take this challenge. This is for those who want to take it. If not then stay out .... But then there is no point in commenting on my calculations as to prove them to be inadequate you have to show the correct calculations! :winky: Thanks for the comedy though. You came here saying it can't be done ----> I did it You tried to draw a parallel by giving the point A point B example to show it can't be answered ----> I answered it You said these calculations would take a long time to do and spoil my weekend ----> I did them in a few minutes You said I am waiting to try out the calculations for Ind vs Eng game and then predict ----> I posted them in a few minutes There are things that separates winners from losers. A loser looks for 100 reasons to back out of something, a winner looks for a solution. A loser is a negative minded person, who works on trying to discourage others, a winner encourages others and shows the way to do it. A loser waits for people to fail so that he can give assurance to himself that he is not a loser, a winner tries different things till he succeeds. A loser quits, a winner doesn't You have been trying so hard to bring this thread down (possibly seeing it as an opportunity to finally take revenge against rett) but you can't because you don't know how to win. which is why folks like you can only do what you do. You can only highlight problems as you don't have it in you to work a solution. Knowledge itself is not enough to make someone a winner, there is this X factor to it too, which people like you lack. which is why there are more losers on this earth then winners :icflove: Enough said!

Ram Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Btw, when i said i think it will take you an entire weekend to come up with a solution, what i meant was - that is how tough and complex question it is.... My assumption was that you're at least a reasonably bright person who might put in some half-sincere efforts to getting this done.. When it took you only a few minutes to, in your own mind, figure out a problem that skilled mathematicians probably could take days just to mull over, that alone should have told you all you needed to know about the sheer dumbness of your post. For you to type that and say 'I did it.. '... OMG, this is gut-wrenching stuff! :hysterical:
