King Tendulkar Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Yuvraj is VERY VERY lucky that he is bowling well and his part time spin means he gets selected
Castro Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Raina is our best number 6 option and had a good game against New Zealand. His hitting prowess is phenomenal. Raina is one player who will take advantage of flat tracks. India should players 2 spinners and 2 pace bowlers, given Chawla's and Bhajji's form. Yusuf, Sehwag and Raina can make up the rest of the overs. Let's hope Dhoni comes to his senses. Raina will be the difference when chasing big totals, Yuvi is out of form and Yusuf is hit or miss.
Ranjha Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Yuvraj is VERY VERY lucky that he is bowling well and his part time spin means he gets selected 50% skillz, 30% determination, 10% power, 5% luck, 5% miscellaneous.
flamy Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 50% skillz' date=' 30% determination, 10% power, 5% luck, 5% miscellaneous.[/quote'] 100% Punjabi :bhangra:

A warm up game against NZ doesnt prove anything. The real match performance against BIG teams will matter. Yuvi has the experience and he can re-create the magic and with his allround performance, he is a shoe-in.
Ranjha Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Yuvraj is lucky that he is bowling VERY VERY well and is usually bowling almost full quota of spin means he gets selected Corrected
achilles Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Raina dropped It was an obvious decision. What say, KT?
Ranjha Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Very obvious and fair decision. There was no other choice. Good job Dhoni:)
King Tendulkar Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 It was an obvious decision. What say' date=' KT?[/quote'] Nope . Raina explosion 10 overs to go on slow flat tracks is a big miss
King Tendulkar Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Kohli is far superior batsman. Future Indian legend in all formats in all conditions. But for this world cup, in these conditions with so many batsman who can bat long already. The exposovness of raina is a must for this tourney. Raina is difference between us making 300 or 350. He is FTB. These are flat tracks so let him bully.

We will see how the tournament progresses and fit raina in accordingly. For now, this is the best we could have done ...no doubt...
jaggadaku Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 no point arguing now, lets support the 11 who are on the filed
Sachinism Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Raina should have played ahead of Yuvi against Bangla and their slow bowlers who he would have murdered
spectre Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Stupid move by Dhoni. A difference in 20-30 runs in the final target will be evident. He would have killed these bangla spinners. And also playing 3 seamers, wth is he thinking
achilles Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Man who scored 100 on World Cup debut says hello.
