kabira Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Lets keep track of DRS system. So far working really well. The worst umpire so far (no kidding) is Ashoker Desilva..Missed two or three plumb ones in one single game. The good so far is Taufel, superb decision today.

God knows how De Silva missed that LBA of Haddin against zim the other day..that was as plumb as it get...not sure why this guy is even allowed to umpire in intl game..

Bowden is the TV umpire. Dar in fact is officiating in matches involving at least one weaker team. Perhaps will be busy during the knock out stages.

That ball went quite fine and the batsman could have easily taken two. Razzak was adjust LBW. They reviewed it and the LBW was over turned. The ball was taken as a dot. Shouldnt the ball be declared as a dead ball.

Yes thats a grey area.Imagine if a batting side needs to win of last ball ...ball hit the pad and there is a loud shout for lbw ....ball ends up over the boundary line but umpire gives the batsman out.Batsman refers it and get it overturned.Now will that boundary stand?It could be chaos out there.
