SachDan Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 What an impressive batting performance from England..They have managed to put this team in place which depends sorely on their batting! Rubbish bowling and atrocious fielding..you just can't win BIG matches by batting alone :headshake: 143 required off 20 overs with Strauss looking more assured than Sachin at the crease!
DomainK Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Congratulations to England. What superb barring!!
SachDan Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 132 required off 18 overs with 8 wickets in hand...well placed chase!
kabira Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 poor captaincy by Dhoni, should have bowled out Chawla...
zen Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Eng are favs, only a miracle could save India Ind has to play 5 bowlers, and bowlers who look to pick up wkts as runs come anyway .... 2+2 doesn't work and nor does picking bowlers who focus on restricting automatically equate to dot balls resulting into wkts .... With the bowling attack that we have, we have to look to play bowlers who look for wkts for a miracle
Asoka Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 England are true to their words- they have indeed silenced the crowd.
debachat Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Unless the bowling improves, there is little chance of us winning three games in a row in the KO stage. Ain't happening...
SachDan Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 baba go and pray somewhere else for India..this is about England and their epic chase at namma namma (:hysterical::hysterical:) Bengaluru. Their answer to our Lords win..even better since it's a world cup win!
Sir_Afridi Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 England are true to their words- they have indeed silenced the crowd. Asoka ..you made the right decison Thanks :two_thumbs_up:
zen Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 England are true to their words- they have indeed silenced the crowd. Home crowds are getting silenced be it BD, SL and now probably Ind :giggle: for Ind win
Clarke Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This should set the alarm bells ringing .. no more watering the pitches, set up a greenhouse and bake them :winky:
Guest prince Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This is a good loss for India Guys, don't get disheartened by this loss against England. Hopefully this will be a reality check for our pre-tournament champions team. This loss will not affect us badly as we will beat them irish, dutch and windies anyway. We will still finish with atleast 8 points. we might finish 2nd or 3rd in the group but we will still win the world cup don't worry. We are rusty at the moment but trust me we will be the best unit come the knockout stages. Let our neighbours celebrate but they will pop as I think they have peaked too early.
bear23 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 it is not a good loss. It is a reality check that indian bowling attack is pathetic. This loss wont make the bowling attack better by learning lessons. The ability is not there. Sreesanth has the ability but is not liked by dhoni
hari504504 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Why are we still looking across the fence ?? !.. They are playing great cricket all-round (maybe not fielding, but their batting and bowling make up for it). Our bowling just showed its true colours, I don't know what can be done after this loss ? .we are stuck with the same bunch for the tougher matches coming up..
2k11 prod Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This is showing how poor and weak the bowling is! cant even defend 338! ****ing ridiculous!!!!
