And you are comparing that with a good flat batting track with the ball coming on nicely to the bat, with short boundaries and quick outfields by a good batting side like England ? ..and your point is? Even if England has good batting side, Netherlands managed to give them a huge scare in their first match itself even though their bowling is average at best. The fact that Roach took 6 wickets on a SLOW track should be enough to make Team India alert. If that kind of bowling flourished on a Kotla track, then I can pretty well gauge the benefits such bowlers would get from an absolutely flat track. People should stop taking a few teams for granted just because they are either in poor form or are winning against the weaker teams. That Australia and England did get jittery themselves should be a lesson for all teams regardless of the pitch they play on.

For one, I never said Netherlands are 'not a minnow side'. That 'one big score' you speak of was not against a pathetic bowling unit even though England's bowling has been way off mark. And well, Bangladesh was a supposedly below par side till they managed to pile up 280 against us in spite of the track being 'spinner friendly'- that the seamers saved the day is another matter altogether. You can't keep blaming the pitch each time we fail to restrict opposing teams well enough. Australia's fast bowlers have been doing relatively well on tracks that support spin too and so have people like Morne Morkel and Steyn who have restricted the flow of runs on pitches that aren't absolutely flat. The Indian team would need more of the 'good luck' wishes than I would indeed :cantstop:

We have been clearly off radar, which was pretty much expected from us, isn't it ?

Some catch drops, some misfield, and some bad balls causes India to tie that match against England. If team learn from past experience, they can win the matches easily even if they score 250 runs.
