don_corleone840 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Now we are on verge of big defeat against england despite scoring mammoth 340 .One question which arise is that what is the safe score for india??
2k11 prod Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 600 is not safe, oppostion attack hard with ioners and middle order, afridi/razzaq/mccullum/morgan finish the job!
Laaloo Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 More like what score is safe on these pitches?
coffee_rules Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 350 is a good enough score for India. 339 to be exact.
someone Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Even 420 is not good for India. Clearly remember the near sucide by our bowlers against SL depsite us scoring 418??
Andy Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Wait for the day when we score 500, and see the opposition almost chase it down.
Sid Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Wait for the day when we score 500' date=' and see the opposition almost chase it down.[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
cowboysfan Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 we should always bat first, especially in a world cup.our bowlers and fielders should have done a better job.
someone Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Congrats you all have been successfully brainwashed by parosis that our bowling attack is 100 times worse than anybody else. Stop it now, it is not good but I will say rather out of form as clearly remember the bowlers have been one of the reasons for winning many of our matches just like our batsman over the last 3 years.
gult Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Well our bowlers were caught napping, no big deal. It happens to the best. I expect them to do much better in the upcoming matches.
pinkfreud Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Haha, funny question considering that we can't even seem to defend our totals well enough whether we get a 370 or even a potential 400. Even West Indies defended their 330 yesterday by defeating Holland by a huge 200 runs. If their bowling can do that then you can just imagine how pathetic our bowling is :hysterical: ...Kemar Roach just ripped through Netherlands though. Now we have another team that we must be cautious about. Team India has a terrible tendency to take -out-of-form teams too lightly, only to suffer in the end- like the England-India match.
gaurav92 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 :yawn2: May be 200 in the first 15 overs and 100 in the batting powerplay which will make it 300. And in the remaining overs if we got at 8 an over it will give us 240 odd runs, so a total of 550-600 would be a good one, and I hope we defend that.

You don't see the difference between the extreme slowness of the Kotla wicket for a side that has never played on that kind of a track ? And you are comparing that with a good flat batting track with the ball coming on nicely to the bat, with short boundaries and quick outfields by a good batting side like England ?
