I maintain, India have got their strategy all wrong. If they insist on consolidating after a stellar start, at least get Yuvraj to do that job at No.3.

i thought of this thread after we collapsed and i completely agree, the strategy isnt getting the most out of resources. sending pathan in was a big mistake, u dont send the guy in when the seamers are bowling. he is like any other batsman that needs time to settle before he can explode. get him in there when the spinners have overs left. yuvraj has some form now and should bat at least 4, or even 3 when the team makes a good start. the biggest change in strategy that india needs is in the handling of the powerplay. why dont india just take that powerplay at the beginning? 131/0 at the 15th over, just cash in on the demoralized opposition. in 2nd innings chases u keep the powerplay as insurance but when the team bats first, its better to take it at the beginning while the ball is still new and u can keep batting the way u have done in the last 15.
