Ranjha Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Picks up wicket in his 1st over. His bowling average is excellent in worldcups. Well done!
gaurav92 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 100 ODI wickets to the flamboyant Yuvi :hatsoff: Great achievement by him. Hope there are many more to come
dnmaru Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Yuvi ... Don't Stop Here.... Ultimate wish from fans ....
yoda Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 He has the chance of being the true all rounder that our team badly needs. Given that YKP's bowling has looked so ordinary, Yuvi could be the guy who saves us, especially this WC. Congrats on 100 wickets!
coffee_rules Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 He is a good backup bowler. An option for the team. When the going gets tough and regular teams like SA, SL or Aus start taking advantage of his lollies, then we have to see how his contribution matters. Like Dravid's keeping, it was just an option.
Fontaine Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I've been impressed with his bowling because he's really using his left arm angle very well. His bowling left arm angle is difficult to pick up because he gives that ball a little bit of air and still lands it on middle and off which forces the batsmen to play off the front foot. Any time the spinner forces the batsmen to play on the front foot and can still give the ball loop and air it can create lbw chances and edges if it even spins a little bit. But also Yuvraj has a decent arm ball that doesn't spin and that's the one that has gotten him a few wickets. I think he's more effective against LHB but still has a done a pretty good job.
