So the start is crucial..if the pacers can restrict the Saffers, then it will not be easy as the pitch should slow down and the ball not coming onto the bat unless ofcourse there is some dew making the ball come onto the bat.

Thats what it looks like. With new ball, we need to restrict the scoring and any wicket is a bonus. But we need to strike big with the old ball.

kabira Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 great start by bowlers, only 40 odd runs in 10 overs with 1 wicket. Dhoni should keep the field up i.e do not give easy singles. The ball is staying low as well. just have to bowl intelligently, changing the pace. Moreover they don't have left hander up in the order, We suck against Lefties.
