Already mentioned earlier its just an observation, not faulting sachin!! Here's one guy who, even at the age of 37 is trying is absolute hardest to perform well - be it with the bat or in the field, and here we've got ungrateful, shameless people like you who say that when he scores a century India wins "only" X% of times and it should at least win Y% of times and blah blah blah blah.....The truth is that people like you simply do not deserve to have this guy play for the team you support. One guy scores a 110 and another guy scores just 10, so according to your logic we blame that guy who scored a 110 because he scored "only" 110 and should've scored more, the other guy who made 10 is not at fault according to simply because you want to prove, somehow, that your beloved MSD contributes more than that one man.

A defeat in a league game is not a bad thing when qualification is practically assured. Now maybe these guys will realise that they have to bat out 50 overs and cannot relax just because the top 3-4 got some runs. Now maybe Dhoni realises that Chawla and Nehra are not dependable at all. If he realises this, then I would consider today's defeat worth it. Dhoni may have had a brain fart today but I think he is a smart captain and anyway, I don't see a better choice. Yes, I hope he bounces his ideas off Sachin but I think maybe it is unfair to just blame him. He has done a pretty good job so far since becoming captain. I think the "session" you allude to happened in the "shower" as well :winky: May be they all peed after getting gallis from MSD and had to clean up. Can't be as MSD was still in the middle when "showering" was going on.

If Sachin gave them a peice of his mind, does that means he hates them? Why don't you ask Sachin to "give it a rest" as he always asks team members to be dicsiplined and give full commitment?

He gotta do something about his body language and that silly grin on his face. I mean look at Zaheer or any other fast bowler - they try to get on the nerves of batsmen - but then Munaf comes along. I am not saying that he needs to go all Sreesanth on the batsmen but is it too much to expect for him to at least to show some concern, aggression and fire when on the field? Even Harbhajan, who's a spinner, shows much more aggression than Munaf!

And we nearly pulled it off. Expect him to mentor every player during the next 4-5 days and tell them where they went wrong.

Its not just a question of body language, both Munaf and Nehra are incapable of managing even a basic standard in their fielding, one that just about every player in other international sides (bar Pakistan) is able to manage. In an ideal world, we wouldn't pick either just based on that but sadly such is our paucity of fast bowlers that we have little choice but to put up with them.

Obviously it hasn't gotten through.
