Solving the Raina-Yusuf dilema

I dont know why YP is being blamed by some! He was promoted to 4 to get things going in PP and had the luxury of knowing that 3 other batsmen are to follow him w/ 9-10 overs to go. What happened next was more due to mindless batting by others than YP getting out early

I dont know about bowlers but, Kohli so often looks out of sorts down the order & the same can be said about Pathan in the higher-batting-order. Kohli & Yusuf-Pathan have to learn to adapt to the shuffling in batting-order. Then, all else will fall in place. However I dont see vacancy for Raina, since he is not as proven as Kohli & Pathan. Kohli & Pathan have emerged victorious from tough tour of SA & Raina had failed there.

Well looks like people are waking up to my point in the Raina vs Kohli thread. Kohli has score all his runs at #3. And with the top 3 set in stone...he is the one that has to go. Thats two big games now against England and SA where he has done absolutely nothing. With pathan being what he is (I still consider him highly unreliable despite his recent form) we have simply got to have a dependable finisher.

Looks good when Tendulkar and Sehwag fire but what happens if you're 2 down chasing under lights? Most teams would fancy a bowl at Yuvraj with a newer ball at 4. Kohli is a class act. You have to pick a team keeping in mind all possible situations.

The problem is you wont get such a fantastic start every game. So you want players like Kohli, but when the start is like that and we need to accelerate, Kohli needs time, so others are pushed ahead of him Y Pathan needs to sit out, I believe raina can do a hitting job on a more regular basis and he makes a difference in the field. Not too sure bout his bowling though

Cmon dude, Rankings and averages are more important You know how hard it is to score runs coming in at No.3 in ODIs :cantstop:
