If batsmen can judge the length well he can be wacked. Overall I would say he is ok. We have bigger problems than him namely Nehra and Chawla and YKP.

His slower ones have lost their novelty it seems with batsmen picking it up easily and also is not getting his yorker correct. 4 matches, 9 wickets@23 at a time when we are questioning the overall bowling attack isn't a bad return IMO. Still the best option after Zak IMO.

The guy's strength is line and length - not what you want when the batsmen are going after you. It would help as well if he added a bit more pace. If you are bowling in 120s, even variety such as slower ball or cutters wouldn't work. He simply has to increase the pace of his stock delivery closer to 140 else he shouldn't be in the team once the tourney gets over.

Even Lee and Tait got hit by Kenya today on a pitch not favouring the pacers. I would still give him more chances. has bowled well since his comeback into the team.

I would have given him benefit of doubt if a batsman had hit him around but he got carted by English tailenders and then SA lower order guys. That should never happen and that too when the pressure was on the tailend/lower order batsmen to reach the target. Plus he can't even get a yorker right and seems he has no idea what a yorker is like. I can understand he doesn't have too much variety while bowling but as a fast bowler is it too much to expect to bowl in a yorker or two especially at the death?

He needs to control his agression a little bit but with teams like AUS and SA it is good to have a tit for tat attitude on the field. What does MSD have against Sree anyways? Seems like he doesn't want him anywhere close to the playing 11.

He's expensive in the death overs but he can be very economical in the middle overs. He bowls far straighter than Nehra and Sreesanth and just needs to brush up his bowling in the death phase.

He bowls far straighter than Nehra and Sreesanth and just needs to brush up his bowling in the death phase. he is economical because batsmen are not attacking him..once they will start attacking him if he bowls against the likes of Dilshan and Watson, we will see what he does..he has not bowled to attacking batsmen yet
