CG Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Its obvious he cannot bowl at death and dhoni persists even though munaf continues bowling length ,would it be better to finish him in the middle overs and use zak in the last few overs.
fineleg Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Like the phrase Father of the Nation, Munna is our affectionate Grandfather of the Team
Misu243 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Which WC are you watching man? Munna is a great at the death bowler. He keeps it absolutely straight. He might've been ineffective in this match but he has the potential to keep it tight for India. Munna and Zaheer will be key. Nehra HAS to go. Bring in Sreesanth if you need a third seamer..

Munaf bowls straight but length in the death overs ,its better we use him in middle overs where it will be difficult to score off him and then sub him and get raina to field for him.
maniac Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Munna is like a dream investment offer,He gives 2 runs when there is 1 and 3 runs where there is 2. He bowls straight and consistent without much fluctuation. I only wish there was a finance scheme like Munaf Patel
CG Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 This dude is 10 yrs 3 mnths younger to baasu and yet gets easily pwned in terms of fielding agility ... anyone else would die in shame ... I think if baasu starts bowling medium pace he might even bowl faster than dadaji Patel :hysterical: Our captain is more intrested in cars and bikes ,he says we cannot improve as engine are problem,Mr Dhoni why do not you change the engine itself
Sachinism Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Munna bowls the wrong length for the death. It's perfect for the batsmen to swing it over the boundary. I would back nehra for the death, he got it wrong last night, but he hadn't bowled an over for a while and then was suddenly asked to bowl the final over
rkt.india Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 @sachinism you forget nehra had bowled one over in powerplay and went for 11 runs....
rkt.india Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 The problem started zak going for 18 runs in pp over..he should have bowle round the wicket
vvvslaxman Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 His role. let me think... laugh like an idiot after conceding a six to a tailender.
Sachinism Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 @sachinism you forget nehra had bowled one over in powerplay and went for 11 runs.... Well out of those 11 runs, 1 boundary was a class shot from Duminy where he opened the face and ran a ball just outside off stump past Dhoni and one boundary came off an inside edge, so its not like it was a poorly bowled over
rkt.india Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 It was a bad over according to situation. All were length balls and were in the hitting zone. Look at how zak bowled yorker length and low full toss. According to me we have only one and a half bowlers and we are hoping to win world cup
Sachinism Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 How often do Indian bowlers bowl yorkers? Not even zak did till the 5th ODI in SA

Sachin=GOD Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Munna has'nt bowled that badly in this WC til now. Although his death bowling, just like other Indian bowlers, has'nt been spectacular.
rkt.india Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 How often do Indian bowlers bowl yorkers? Not even zak did till the 5th ODI in SA And indian bowlers are not good anymore
Ranvir Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 His role. let me think... laugh like an idiot after conceding a six to a tailender. I still haven't forgiven this guy for laughing when India were losing to Sri Lanka in the 2007 World Cup.

Although his death bowling' date=' just like other Indian bowlers, has'nt been spectacular.[/quote'] STUPID and sense less slow bowling from Munaf at the end...i call his bowling slow as i cant call it medium. RIGHT ARM SLOW BOWLER who is a fecking fielder -MUNAF right arm off spin wicekt less great offspinner bhajji and crazy allrounder yusuf. ZAK right arm medium swing old great bowler who cannot field. nehra- left arm old unfit swing bowler past his prime. uVi- left arm batsmen who is coming back to form from bad form to little better form and is a slow left arm bowler not a spinner
