Good one. I've seen the Indian team members several times in England. No offence but some of the chaps behave like morons. That's not just India though. Every team has a few of them. Also met Tendulkar at the Asian awards in London a few months back thanks to a friend.
I couldn't blame them, they can't go outside in India, so when they're abroad, they would except some freedom but even then they're hounded. You can't imagine how suffocating their lives can be
you guys were flying Indigo or sahara airline?? and they didnt fly first class or they did?

Maybe it's because they have to keep up their reputation or some of them are just decent chaps. The man who is hounded the most in India is the one who I found to be absolutely brilliant. :winky:

@theanalyst - an example of what I was talking about news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/9423486.stm
Ganguly believes Tendulkar will retire from one-day internationals after this World Cup, but carry on in Tests for a couple more years
Just a couple more years...will just have to enjoy these final years of his brilliance :((

:sniffle: Cant imagine Indian cricket without Sachin. I was his fan even before I became a cricket fan. :((

Yeah, its been in my thoughts but I didn't really want to contemplate his retirement...but Saurav (a close friend of his) saying that makes it a reality that will have to be faced soon...:((

I felt like that when Viv Richards was coming to the end of his career. Slightly different since he was a shadow of the player that he was in 1976 and a part of me didn't want to see him carrying on playing like an average player. You'll get over it and then celebrate a great career. This finishing on a high is also overstated. It would be perfect for any player but a player's legacy is written much before he finishes. When people talk of Richards, they remember Viv at his best rather than his struggles at the end. Sorry for mentioning Richards so many times but I'm a massive fan.
