There are lot of matches still to be played and can't write off India yet. Don't forget that after this little fun qualification ends its just one bad match and we can get the boots aswell ... Then again I am not so much happy with the performance we showed here. Imagine England snatched that Tie game from us in favor of them ... boy would we be in trouble right now if we somehoe lost to WI.

I dont see any team out there that can beat India this year. I really want India to play both Pakistan and SL to shut their arrogant fans up. Whats left to shut them up really? When it comes to WC matches, whats left to shut Pakistan up?

In that case let's have these threads/posts once the tourney gets over. The only really pathetic performance in the world cup from 2003-11 has been against B'desh in 2007. If we had won that game we would have reached super 8s and we wouldn't have these kind of threads. If you want to talk about stats here are a few I can come up with against various teams... 1. Since 1992 Eng has wonly 5 matches against Test playing nations in world cups. Maybe the no. would be lower if we exclude Zim/B'desh from the list of Test playing nations. 2. Pak went a whole decade (from 1999 - 2011) without beating a Test playing nation in a world cup barring Zim/B'desh 3. SA has NEVER won a knockout match in a world cup - be it 50 over or T20 format! 4. WI have only reached one world cup semi-final since 1983 The point is that other than Aussies you can come up with stats to project any team in a bad light. This thread falls in the same category.
