Oh well, he did get 6/6 correct predictions... not bad at all, I'm sure you'll agree ! What can the poor dog do, if a Team decides to lose deliberately ! You may not agree, but I have a strong suspicion that WI didn't exactly try their hardest to win this match, what with leaving out Gayle, Chanderpaul and Roach AND then reaching a strong position of 154/3 and then suddenly, inexplicably losing 7 wickets and ending up at 188 only ! Did the mediocre Indian bowling suddenly become more dangerous....I don't think so ! Also, notice that the collapse started when the difference between the 2 totals was approaching below 100, the difference required for Bangladesh to sneak in ahead of WI, on NRR Once that danger was almost past, WI happily kept losing wickets at regular intervals, to ensure that they lost ; thereby ensuring that they don't end up meeting Australia ! Very cleverly and subtly done, I must say ! But there is a possibility that WI may have outwitted themselves, in their effort to avoid Australia ! This is NOT the Australia of old and the Windies may have been better off playing them, than the in-form Pakistan who are on a roll ! Australian batting looks quite brittle, especially the middle-order and the bowling isn't all that great apart from Brett Lee..... Tait and Johnson only rely on raw pace, with little or no variation. I feel India has a strong chance of beating these Aussies, especially in front of a Home Crowd ! Not so sure about West Indies beating Pakistan though :winky: Anyway, Bingo and I will be back , to predict the results of the rest of the Matches of WC 2011 :two_thumbs_up:

And the result of the Ind-Aus game :- India will beat Australia ! And the result of the Nzl-SA game :- New Zealand will beat South Africa ! ( This one could be a very close one though !) And the result of the SL-Eng game :- Sri Lanka will beat England ! ( This again could be a close one, with England having its nose ahead initially, could go either way !) Have fun !

Sorry, Sharmaji, but I've promised my friend not to reveal how Bingo makes his predictions... Copyright issues, you know:winky:. In my defence, if you read my earlier posts, you will see that I HAD mentioned that Bingo was having some confusion in predicting the Ind-WI game ! And yes, I too was surprised by the prediction of the result of the Nzl-SA game..... I can only say that my friend informs me that Bingo again appeared uncertain regarding this game ( ? extraneous factors ), before finally choosing New Zealand ! Same thing happened in SL-Eng game, before he finally chose Sri Lanka !

Plenty of weirdos on this Forum ; I've learnt the hard way that its better to simply ignore them ! Yes, my friend and I (and Bingo ! ) make the predictions just for fun.... we're not trying to make any money out of it ! Anyway, I'd like to inform you that we AGAIN made Bingo predict the QF results as I was a bit surprised by 1 or 2 of his predictions. The results were EXACTLY the same as I had posted earlier..... he also AGAIN hesitated quite a bit before choosing the winners of QFs 3 and 4 ! My friend and I consider it amazing that he behaved EXACTLY the same as before :omg: He may or may not get all predictions correct, but still:hatsoff: to Bingo ...... like you pointed out, he has been a lot more accurate than many of the so-called Pros here
