coffee_rules Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Eng SA Ind BD will be out. India will play QFs against NZ Semis against Aus That's it.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Eng SA Ind BD will be out. India will play QFs against NZ Semis against Aus That's it. Are you saying Ind will crash out in semis like in 96 :nervous: I wish India had selected different venues for quarters and semi final. Ahmedabad is flat and Mohali has bounce - they should have gone for Chennai and B'lore with lots of turn available.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 what if WI wins? Nothing much... we will moan about how we let the game slip due to poor captaincy, poor team selection or bone-headed play by either batsmen or bowlers, start coming up with threads like "lessons learned for quarter final", "what we should do in quarter final" etc. and wait for the Quarter Final
yoda Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 There is a good chance we will beat the WI as there is no pressure on us to win in order to qualify. Don't see bangbros beating SAF. South Africa will play that game to win as they would want to top the group. SA IND WI ENG are my picks and order. If ENG beat WI and WI lose to us, can WI still make it if Bangbros lose to SAF?
Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 GUYS LOOK AT THIS THREAD!!! U CAN DO THE SAME THING THERE!!! http://indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=262805

pinkfreud Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 There is a good chance we will beat the WI as there is no pressure on us to win in order to qualify. Quite the opposite. If England beat WI and their RR improves, then Dhoni & Co. will be under tremendous pressure.

Nah paaji Bangbros NRR is horrendous, don't see them making it. If West Indies loses to both India and England, it will look like this. Group B SA 10 poiint Ind 9 points - We may face either Srilanka or NZ Eng 7 points WI 6 points
urbestfriend Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 WI beat England India beat WI SA beat BD India's end of WC campaign in QF, don't think they have it in them , with this bowling lineup, to go beyond Quarter final.
ghost Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I will make one prediction at a time, a day or 2 before each match, if you don't mind, as my reliable source will let me know one at a time:winky: Thu Mar 17 England will beat West Indies
zen Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 The one below is a likely outcome too: SA - 10 Ind - 9 WI - 8 BD - 6 if we go by ghost's neighbors' dog's prediction on Eng vs WI: SA - 10 Ind - 9 (assuming Ind beats WI) Eng - 7 WI / BD - 6 SA - 10 WI - 8 (assuming WI beats Ind) Ind - 7 Eng - 7
