ViruRulez Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I just checked the points table and realized that Australia has sneaked to the highest points amongst all teams in the competitions both groups included and is the only team to be undefeated in any match till now. Everybody was neglecting Australia but they still seem to be a potent force and one of the top contenders. Quite interesting especially as we approach the semis. Australia cannot be neglected anymore and other teams especially us and Saffers would need to take them more seriously. Everybody kept on noticing India and SA but Aussies sneaked to the top and remained the only team unbeaten whereas all other teams have faced at least 1 defeat in group stage till now.

This match will take place on this Saturday. Everyone knows that their main weakness is spin. They lost 2 warmup matches against India and SA. Their chances of winning the cup this time is not very high, unlike before.
Switchblade Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 They havent been at their best and if somehow in Q.F if any sides take it to their bowlers and bat sensibly they can win Ponting has been poor so far and their middle order might struggle against a major team.

Our pitches spin from first ball, remember they struggled against Chawla who has been abysmal. WE have better bowler than Chawla. WE win half the battle before even the toss when Aussies see list of our spinners

Today Watson and Haddin hit Balaji Rao and other spinners all over the park even the biggest six of tournament was hit by Watson today. In cricinfo poll Balaji was considered best leg spinner better than Chawla. He troubled Pakistan and other teams also. Not only today, they won last 3 world cups. There were no spinners in last 3 world cups???? They are here with the plan. Ponting knows very well how to win world cup and he will prove it again. I am sure they will reach final.

Was India vs Aus warm up game on turning pitch??? If yes look at scorecard. India was 138 for 8. Stop making stuff up...then again when your best argument is to present a game India won, it is no surprise if you have to resort to making stuff up.

Well before 29/9... 267/1 happened which is more than enough to beat some crappy teams in the group A. We didn't have Tendu against Australia the leading run scorer of the world cup :finger: . Aussies were clueless against a bowler that got demolished even by associate side. How bad they would be.. ofcourse not as bad as a team that couldn't bat more than 43 overs agianst Canada.

Happened against one of the best teams in the world in a match we lost with two balls to spare. On the other hand your sorry team conceded 93 runs in 4 overs and were thrashed by a team that lost to Bangladesh 4-0! :hysterical:
