Ashwin patiently waits in the wings

That's a hoot coming from a guy whose argument is littered with "in my view" and "point of view" without even looking at the stats. So you don't argue based on stats and you wouldn't "want a non- cricketing audience explaining in-depth technical analysis on "their" opinion" So what exactly is the argument based on? Your "opinions" and what you "feel" is right? :cantstop:
He was a special guest for Indian team net practice :cantstop: See his wisdom Net performance is the difference between being in the team and being in the squad. If you argue with that, then I cannot explain more

Good, please tell what have you done so differently than a typical supporter? There is absolutely No logic in your previous post mentioning your psychology report on Chawla and teaching Chawla on how to bowl.
1. I do not know the level of my cricketing knowledge as it is very relative. But what I am sure is that it is nowhere in the range of your level. 2. You should be the last person to talk about logic, because that's what is badly lacking in every single post of yours in this thread so far. It is only based on views, perceptions, and sentiment.

:cantstop: Sure now team will be selected based on "net performances" and not actual match performances :hysterical: By the way where are the try-outs being held? Maybe I can perform better in a net session and get the 2nd spinner spot :winky:

That is rubbish. Ashwin is no different from the likes of Chawla in my view. That is my point. You can keep mentioning his 4-5 games but that is too little and pretty irrelevant to make final conclusions. .

Ashwin even has a 'win' in his name; actually an Alchemist like potential of converting Ash to Win. Ab Australia ka kya hoga!

Lol, this will be one of those threads where one will bump after each good/bad performances. Very odd indeed. After all, one game does not make a player good or better. He still is as unproven as Chawla. You can make me as many reasons as possible but that is why I consider both in the same category. But the difference is Chawla seems to in bad form while Ashwin otherwise, so Ashwin deserves to play but that again does not mean he is the best like some of you pretend

Well no point in arguing will you then. I can only hope that whoevers plays on that day performs the best. If Ashwin plays, I will always support him unlike what you lot interpret.
