kabira Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Yes because thats what premier bowlers from all teams do Yes and thats what he did, so whats problem. He bowled well. Ashwin got wickets. He could have had ponting LBW, but no reviews left.
fineleg Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 dsr talks abt pathological...Look at the defenders of HS - you'll know
King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 premiere spinner? Disgrace! Was superb in tour of SA and no our most economical bowler in WC. But anyway dont let facts blind your hate. You should have done a thread on Munaf and it might have had more validity. Pathetic thread
ViruRulez Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I would drop him after WC and replace him with Ojha .. right we need to carry him as we do not have any replacements for him yet .. Bhajji >>> Nehra/Munaf/Chawla and so there is virtually no replacements .. so it is not possible in this WC but after world cup he needs to be rested for sometime and Chawla instead given a chance
King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 strike rate. http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;filter=advanced;orderby=bowling_strike_rate;spanmax1=31+Dec+2011;spanmin1=01+Jan+2011;spanval1=span;team=6;template=results;trophy=12;type=bowling Yep confirms he has best economy rate. ER rate is very important in odis. Yes would be nice for more wickets but can also see that keeping it tight is VERY important as well
debachat Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 He had the best economy rate of all the front line bowlers. Anyway carry on your blind hate You kidding right! He was only 3 runs behind Zak and Ashwin and they both got wickets. Unless he can keep it under 3 - the economy argument wont take him far. Bhajji's time is over!
asterix Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 That leg side DART WIDE for 5 runs was CLASSIC.. Epic Dart Chucker..You can't find a similar dart chucker in present day cricket..Lapak-Jhapak Butterfly Dart Chucking..
fineleg Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 dsr is going bonkers with fascination for dart hurling in the name of 'bowling'
spectre Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 No.1 Indian Spinner...If I hear that sh1t again..my blood will boil :giggle: Totally worthless idiot hogging the space using all backdoor methods
debachat Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Yep confirms he has best economy rate. ER rate is very important in odis. Yes would be nice for more wickets but can also see that keeping it tight is VERY important as well ER is important if you can go for less than 3 - if not then rather take wickets. BTW - if he is a frontline bowler and cannot take wickets or even buy wickets then he has no place!
rainy day Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 He has the best econmy rate of any indian in the tournament! And you want him dropped' date=' you feeling ok?[/quote'] Against "real" opposition's his ER is just as bad others...without wickets. Bowling dots at associates is nothing to boast of http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;filter=advanced;opposition=1;opposition=2;opposition=3;opposition=4;orderby=economy_rate;spanmin1=15+Feb+2011;spanval1=span;team=6;template=results;type=bowling
pensionplan Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 He had the best economy rate of all the front line bowlers. Anyway carry on your blind hateOr your blind worship. Another way to look at it. :-)
kabira Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 This is the thread that clearly shows OP lack of cricketing knowledge. Yes bhajji darts a lot. But today he flighted. His pitch map was better than Ashwin. Its good idea to sometimes watch entire 10 overs and not to judge by one wide down the leg side.
vvvslaxman Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Yep confirms he has best economy rate. ER rate is very important in odis. Yes would be nice for more wickets but can also see that keeping it tight is VERY important as well Are you saying premiere bowlers are not there to take wickets? Imagine everyone darted their way through. It would have been absolute mayhem. Only because of wickets we managed to restrict them to 260. Otherwise it would have been 350.
King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Yes lets drop our most economical bowler in the whole world cup, cos we are blessed with bowlers who keep it tight. We can get Munaf, Nehra, Chawla and Sree in to team. They will bowl oppo out inside 48 overs, only problem is they will have 400 on the board. Drop out tightest bowler in the wc:hysterical: Thankgod these fools dont have input in team selection
Dooks Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Bhajji cr@p. Need to replace with Ashwin and then see if Bhajji can improve to get back in the team.
asterix Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Drop all Munna, Nehra, Chawla, Sree and that Dart chucker..Drop all..
