Don't take Pakistan lightly.

I think we can take them lightly. They have a very very average bowling attack. Combination of slow' date='low pitches and toss made their bowling look better than actually is. gul and Afretard their most successful bowlers have gotten thrashed so many times. They are under false illusion they have the best bowling attack. They keep forgetting 100 runs in 4.5 overs against NZ[/quote'] I hope you are right. I have a feeling that this is 49th over game.

No question of taking anyone lightly in a World Cup semi final. The fielding and the pressure put on the batsmen today was way better than in the group stages, suggesting the team is lifting for these crunch games. Pakistan have a few players who always score runs against us so if we can plan for them meticulously, we should be OK. The batting has had its dramatic collapses through the tournament but on the positive side, all except Dhoni have had at least one major match shaping innings.

more than afretard' date=' Razzak is the worry - with his slog overs whacking. Against India, these guys can succeed.[/quote']LOL...Man you worry about every little thing. Remember we have darn good players too. Show more confidence in your own players. That is all I got to say.

I am not worried about Pakistan junk batting. I am hoping Indians handle the pressure well like they did today. Expecting a better batting from Viru and Kohli against Pak.

A Pakistani fan can easily reply with: India has the best batting attack. Pakistan has the best bowling attack. Game on.

There is no question of taking Pakistan lightly. They are in a better situation than India. They were not expected to play well this tournament and they have more than surpassed that by reaching semis. India on the other hand is expected to reach the semis and win the cup before the tournament. Add to that the home pressure. I think India will beat Pakistan 7 out of 10 times in a bi lateral series. But this is a one off game. I am utterly confused as to what they should opt to do if they win the toss, bat or bowl. Either way, may the better team win.

Perfect Semi Final Clash. Arch rivals going hard against each other for a place in the all important finals. Never easy under pressure against Pakistan because the pressure is doubled. India will have home support in their side but Pakistan will want to settle the previous ties and scrap off history. It will be a mouth watering Contest at Mohali. I expect both the teams to give 150%. All I know is that S/F are the toughest to win, and both the teams have it to get in the finals. In the end, one team will be disappointed and will have to pack their bags and go home. India have the batting, Pakistan have the bowling, but I feel its a battle between the nerves and the team that has nerves of steel will have the edge over the other. The who of India and Pakistan will come to a standstill this Wednesday and will witness the game of the tournament, a game that will decide the fate of their side's chances in this WC. Its a do or die game for both the sides, and the one who gives the last punch will emerge victorious. Sides India Sehwag Sachin Gambhir Kohli Yuvraj Dhoni Raina Harbhajan Ashwin Zaheer Nehra Pakistan Hafeez Kamran Shafiq Yunus Misbah Umar Afridi Razzaq Akhtar Gul Ajmal India have a good all round side, a decent spin attack with an intelligent operator in the form of Yuvraj who has had a dream run in this tournament. The worry is the second pacemen, either Nehra or Munaf will have a game. Its often said that never change a winning combination, but I would take the gamble and give Nehra this game ahead of Munaf. Nehra has done well against Pakistan and I will back our experienced bowler in this game, and ask him to do the business in this crunch game.If we can sort this thing out, I am sure very few sides can pester us in such a game. Looking at the Pakistan side, I think there is an air of unpredictability and its no surprise that its been this way throughout the tournament. Their opening combination has clicked in the last game, but they were chasing a paltry 113. Apart from that, their Top order has been struggling, especially Yunus Khan. They have a good lower middle order with Big hitters like Misbah, Afridi and Razzaq to take full toll of Indian bowling in the death overs.Their bowling looks better than the Indians with Umar Gul, Afridi and Ajmal striking form in this WC. But will spin attack of Pakistan trouble the Indian batting ? Not sure about that. Predictions India start off as favorites simply because of their batting strength and the Home conditions that they will enjoy. Its 55-45 in India's favour. One who wins the toss, will look to bat first as Mohali track has traditionally been good for batting. but in the last game that India Pakistan played each other at the same venue, Pakistan managed to chase down 322 :((. So its been a good ground for them. But its the S/F and the pressure will be very different. Under such circumstances, if the side batting first gets 270-280 on the board, there will be pressure from all corners for the chasing side. Big Worry for Indians is Afridi's wicket taking ability and Razzaq's hitting ability especially against India. And the worry for Pakistan will be A hungry Sehwag, an in form Sachin and a stronger than ever Yuvi. So, in such an important game, all the stats and accessories go for a toss, and its what you do on the field that makes history. Lets hope for a good game of Cricket and and Indian win. :isalute::isalute::isalute::isalute::isalute::isalute::isalute::isalute:

man to man we are better, especially batting, but that stuff counts for nothing in an India Pakistan matchup. Just remember that in every single WC so far they were a better team then us, and we always won against them. Could be the case here as well. Having said that, if we can produce the kind of fielding and bowling we did today, then we're in with a real chance, not just against Pakistan, but against any team. PS: The India tormentor in chief is out of action for this world cup -> Shoaib Malik
