ViruRulez Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 It took 34 matches and a considerably weaker Australian team before the law of averages caught up with them. I'll take 17. ++ :giggle:
Utalk Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 According to law of average Pakistan is a below average team which has played well above average. Now hopefully they will below average to get their average right. May be they under achieved in last couple of years due to non cricketing reasons.
Midfielder Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 May be they under achieved in last couple of years due to non cricketing reasons. Well then that makes them above average. Just play average next week and we will all be fine.

Our players are known for raising their game against you guys.Talentless wonders like Malik and Traitor Butt made a living out of performing against India. Jokes aside you guys are sight favs but this can go either way.

Jokes aside you guys are sight favs but this can go either way. No one has any advantage and no one is favorite. Like you said Pakistan brings their best game against India. In my humble opinion in WC Pakistan always had a slightly better team then India but they are under more pressure that is why they lost. In this WC jokes aside I really dont know who has the better team(honestly) so I would not like to take a guess. The only thing in our favor is it is a home game and for close games that is always huge. India really does need to plan meticulously for this game because this will be hell all the time and I feel this is 49th over game. What do you think?
Midfielder Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 what is the law ? Statisitics means never having to say you are certain.

Indian batting strength gives them advantage but on a typical mohali wicket I expect our middle order to fire.High scoring game and team dealing with pressure better will prevail.

To counter Pakistan middle order India needs to bring 3 pace bowlers but that wont happen. So sit back and enjoy the ride. This is not for weak stomach. Tough tough game.

I think that if India wins the toss and bats first then the game is half won for you guys.. With the batting line up there is a good chance that they will rake 285 plus and Pak batting will probably wilt under the pressure of chasing it and collapse. But there's also a small chance oof India being bowled out by inform Pak bowlers. Though with the sheer number of quality batsmen you have i think one will fire atleast and set a big score. A lot depends on the pitch and the dew factor too. Flat traks might help Pak hide their batting frailties and it might exposed india's weak bowling On the other hand a spinning track could just throw us anything. afridi, hafeez and one of ajmal or rehman will play and could work out for them.. but at the same time, indians are good players of spin. A spinning track might also mean that the out of form bhajji might finally contribute. i dont know abt ashwin but indians i know seem to rate him highly. all in all it will be a very exciting match and anyone could win it. Indians just need their batting to fire and more often than not it does fire. so i think its 60-40 to india esp because there will be a hostile crowd from pak's perspective whereas out guys have played infront of awesome support throughout so ffar

TBH nothing will beat 96 heart break. We had a far better team and our strong middle order chocked against Raju and Jadeja of all people. Now If we win great if not life carries on.Cricket meant a lot more in 80s and 90s.

That maybe because you are old now :winky: passion is at an alltime high for teenagers and young awaam :--D
Utalk Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 That maybe because you are old now :winky: passion is at an alltime high for teenagers and young awaam :--D That might well be the case.I still follow every game.
Midfielder Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Good luck to you guys but not for this game. I hope you win the next one but we do need this one. I sometime stoop low and trash talk but never initiate it. It is all harmless. You guys do have a good team and it will be a shame if you dont play Shoaib. Most people in India love him. Have a nice day or nigh whereever you are.
gaurav92 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I don't believe in Law of Averages, I believe in God :isalute:
