Indian Bowling Versus Pak Bowling

Guys, Really pak bowling is overrated they have played most matches in srilanka where generally scores have been low as picthes have assited bowlers,Man to man there is not much difference with out akhtar of course. Ind Pak on form 1-Zaheer = 1-Gul 2-Ashwin = 2-ajmal 3-Bhajji < 3-afridi {you can say afridi has taken wickets but bhaji has been economical and afridi averages 60 against india} 4-Munaf = riaz {both have done nothing special} 5-Yuvraj > razaq

Seems like Afridi has reinvented himself as a fast spinner. India better have done their homework on him but once they get their eye in, a big score could be on the cards..For India, most of Zaheer Khan's overs should come with the old ball and Ashwin should lead the spin attack.

In bowling Gul is a better ODI bowler than zaheer (Gul Avges 26 and Zaheer 28) though I agree zaheer is a better test bowler Akhtar if he plays is head and shoulders above Munaf or Nehra or sreesanth Ajmal and Ashwin I cant pick one both are very good spinners Afridi is better than bhajji

Bhajji has better career-record than Afridi. Zaheer has more wickets than Gul in this world cup.:dontknow: There is not as much difference between Indian and pakistani bowling as its made out to be by paki fans.

yeah not much difference but clear difference is that PAkistani bowlers are wicket-takers you only have one wicket taker i-e zaheer As far as Gul v Zaheer is concerned Gul has out-performed zaheer even in this WC Gul 14 wickets at 14.50 Zaheer 17 wickets 16.23 Harbajhan may have a better record but afridi has clearly out-performed him

Based on this stat, you obviously cant say that Gul has out-bowled Zaheer/ Out of 100, India will get arnd 70 and pak will get 75 for bowling. While for batting, I'll put India at 90 and Pakistan at 65.

Gul has been better than zaheer I think 14.50 is better than 16.23 I would give indian bowling 70 and PAkistan bowling 80-85 as far as batting is concerned I agree with you ... and I also agree India are favourites due to superior batting but that is on paper .... Game of cricket isnt played on paper Pakistan bowling does have ability to get Indian batting out for a low-total

I dont agree !!! Srilankan pitches were as flat as it can get apart from may be canada game where pitch was supporting but other than that every other one was a flat one ....

Zaheer has 3 wkts more than Gul. A small difference of 1.73 tells nothing. Also, India and pakistan have played on different pitches and against different oppositions.

Bangalore pitch was more batsmen-friendly than all those you've mentioned. And its idiotic to suggest that Gul has out-bowled Zaheer based on that stat that you gave.

May be out-bowled was a bit of exaggeration but Gul is slightly ahead of zaheer as a ODI bowler .. In tests it is vice-verca

Pak's bowling is overrated coz they bowled on helpful SL pitches?same can be applied to our batting,only batted on pattas

Any bowlers that have faced Kenya, Canada, and Zim SHOULD look better compared to India facing the BangBros, Ireland and Netherlands who can all put up 250 plus on a good batting track. Pakistan have had a much easier time facing those minnows and Windies of all teams in the Quarters.
