Mariyam Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Best day of my life. Got up late, 10 am-ish and took a long time to get ready and to decide what to wear for the WC final. Had a mini flag painted on my cheeks. Reached the venue by noon. Cops confiscated all my crackers. :(( Screamed, cheered, got angry, jumped,cried and cried more. Celebrated like crazy after the game. We were on Marive Drive till 2. Random strangers came along and offered water and lays. I over heard a cop say " Aaj mala Sachin che darshan zhale, ajun hya naukri madhne kay nako" or something like that. They were a part the group that escorted the players back to the hotel. Someone told us that Trattoria was open for the whole night and we headed there. Seating bit was closed, but they were taking orders only for that night. Sat at Wink and had Pizza. Lol. :D Then spent the time in my friends compound putting music and celebrating loudly till we were driven away. Then we did the same in another compound. :D Went home at 7am (today), expecting my mom to give me the same old ghisa pita lecture on izzat, gheirat and late nights, but surprisingly parents weren't home from the game. Freshened up and when I was leaving for my dance class my parents got back home. Mom looked very cute with the flag painted on her forehead. lol After dance went for " the Lincoln Lawyer" . Banged my car into the footpath thrice on the way back because of sleep. Got home and slept at 2 pm only to get up at 8pm. Work tomorrow :((
