I have a feeling MSD will play his cards with YP... he will drop Kholi (who didn't have a great series, neither did YP had). Still i think for Sri Lanka Yuppo can prove to be a wild card. Lanka's major attack consists of Spinners and we all know Yuppo is a beast against the spinners. Those who have seen IPL knows a thing or two about the treatment Murli / mendis received .

Kohli has been pretty successful with 1 100 and 2 50s...he has scored 250 odd runs and is the best player of spin in India

Kholi is undoubtedly a good player against spinners and so is SRT , Gauti , Viru , Raina and to an extent Yuvi. During P P Murli + Malinga bowls , here YP can extend his muscles. Otherwise we won't be getting the extra 20-30 runs cushion.

You do not need sloggers against these two bowlers..A batsman who can work them through gaps is more effective especially against Malinga. No batsman can hit those yorkers for sixes..its about playing him wisely and no wild slogging

Yusuf doesnt have the temperament to maximize the power play, brute power is not all that you need, every ball cant be hit for a six. Look at the Power Play batting difference between Yusuf vs West Indies/England and Raina vs Pakistan. Raina would be the player I back in powerplays. Kohli is a must for todays game, esp if Gambhir is missing out.
