Even yuvraj's fielding improved much more after Kohli and Raina came in the squad. Nehra also started diving around :omg: Only dadaji was at his mediocre fielding best :hehe:

yuvi is hands down better than raina and kohli combined when fully fit

SRT had 7 years of international experience in 1996 WC behind him...he had scored 537 runs...Kohli is 1 odd year old in international cricket...he has very comparable stats in ODIs in comparison to SRT at this age...22.....check it.......and last no one can be compared to SRT...sorry

He still scored 282 runs in the WC...know how much SRT had in 2007 only 64 in 3 at 20 matches......you cant reject a player only after 2-3 failures who have done so well in one year of his career....

Kohli should kick himself. He had chance to play 2 signature innings. Against Australia he was playing superb innings and gets out to full toss. Same in finals, against run of play gets out to Dilshan. I hope he can keep playing big innings.

Both are soft dismissals. He was looking well set but he just gave it away. A big knock was easily on the cards for him on both occasions.

Regarding Virat Kohli Not sure if this has been covered here or a thread already exists but thought of creating a thread in case ppl didn't know about it... I was surprized to find out that Kohli lost his dad while Ranji Trophy was going on and he still came out to bat and saved the game!!! Kohli's dad expired at 3 AM and he actually batted the next morning!!! And Kohli was all of 18 at the time! He not only played but actually saved the game for Delhi against Karnataka. If this doesn't show resilience and mental strength I don't know what does! Hope Kohli bashers keep this in mind when they go after him regarding his attitude. I was under the impression his dad was not well... didn't know that his dad had expired. At 18 to play, and save the game, shows the guy's character. Surely a future India captain in waiting.
