Why does a player have to retire only at the end of a WC? He can retire this year, in 2012, 2013 or anytime. There would be a problem only if a player is not contributing to the team.

It doesn't make sense for Scahin to continue if he is not playing the next WC. Better off allowing the youngster to get 90-100 ODI games under his belt.

Who wants to break that stupid record? Sachin will play as long as he enjoys playing and contributing to the team. He is a consistent batsman in the lineup and I don't know why he should hangup now.

I think max 3 years but not 2015 world cup for sure. I would LOVE to see him but let's be realistic.
