Teams which have a significant number of players who have been playing non-stop in the past few months or have significant amount of international cricket coming up right after IPL will also struggle.

CSK - Dhoni touch still remains and as expected Southee is a smart buy(underrated death bowler) 2. MI- Rohit will play a big part in the campaign and SAchin is cool as ever 3. KKR - look better than before. Need to settle down quickly. some weird decisions (not playing TenD, Gambhir coming down) 4. RCB - good fresh start surprised by the new comers Mayank and Pathan. ABDev looks to be in prime form 5. Pune W- Batting looks strong and Yuvraj looks very committed this time. 6. Kochi - Did better than expected. need Mahela to get into his stride quickly. McCullum needs to go on like this. Would love to watch VVS and Mahela ina 100 run partnership. 7. DC - bowling looks good with Ishant firing 8. KXIP - did very poorly and I expect them to be at the bottom. 9. RR- Better than expected- Warne needs to look beyond the current squad and give chance to Pankaj, Rahane, Chahar 10. DD - bowling had potential but the pool Kotla tracks does not support them. I can never see Viru motivated for a competition like IPL. I mean even ODI's dont spur him on leave alone being captain.

CSK doesnt have a very strong side(Like MI, RCB and KKRetc), overseas players are average, unless Dhoni hits form they have to rely too much on Raina. But still CSK are the favourites to win the IPL coz they have a settled unit and have the best captain Dhoni :nervous:. But i am hoping MI will play them again in the finals and beat them this time

Couldnt get past group stage last year. Average overseas players? When did Bolinger and Hussey became average . Southee is one the bowlers in world . Their record in IPL in poor and rightfully they are just like every other team bar CSK who have been superb in IPL.

Wether they have great players or average ones fact is that they have proved themselves a team which has won IPL and then went on to win CL T20 is not a crap or average team as some of them beleive.
