pinkfreud Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I'm sorry there's no source here as yet and I don't want to mislead anybody at all, but they are showing this on Times Now currently. Can anybody find a link/vid about this? Am checking the Times Now site but can't find the required video they just showed on TV a few minutes back. In the event this news becomes redundant due to mere media speculation, we can perhaps discuss if Warne would be the right coach for our national team, and the mods can edit the title accordingly if they so wish.
pinkfreud Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 I thought so too considering an Aussie coach may not be the right choice for our guys, but he's done a good job with RR. Still looking for that snippet...
gult Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 NO high profile people please! We saw what happened when we had greg chappell
vvvslaxman Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 He never believed in coach for a cricket team :cantstop:. So that is a surprising news.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I hope not. We want a coach not an attention seeking playboy.
vvvslaxman Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I hope not. We want a coach not an attention seeking playboy. He hated all those drills by coach that they usually give. There is a reason why Royals had no coach per se. He feels captain is enough.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 He hated all those drills by coach that they usually give. There is a reason why Royals had no coach per se. He feels captain is enough. and still wants to become the coach of India
pinkfreud Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 http://live.indiatimes.com/ The captions about this update should come up in the live video. Live TV > English News > Times Now. I know it's Times Group, but apparently he's been quoted. That said I'm sure Warney wants it for the money :cantstop: not sure if he'd be good at all though. He's the polar opposite of Guru Gary. In any case I think this thread would work as a coach discussion thread as well.
Hell Raiser Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Gary kirsten invited Mike horn to motivate players, Shane Warne will invite Liz Hurley to motivate the boys. Good for them.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Gary kirsten invited Mike horn to motivate players' date=' Shane Warne will invite Liz Hurley to motivate the boys. Good for them.[/quote'] :haha:
vvvslaxman Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Munaf would love him as coach. No hard work. But he is a result oriented guy in the sense he is more like "i don't know how you do.. you gotta do it". He is a better captain. He has to be on the field.
pinkfreud Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 Gary kirsten invited Mike horn to motivate players' date=' Shane Warne will invite Liz Hurley to motivate the boys. Good for them.[/quote'] :hysterical: If he was the coach when Poonam Pandey wanted to streak then I'm sure he would have made it happen.

The Outsider Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Warne makes too much money to ditch it for a coaching job.
Aaku Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Please NO ! We dont want cheap unsanskaari coach who cannot lead by example
The Outsider Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 pf : Please remove the embedded video from your signature. You can leave a link.
rajmarie Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 No Horny Warne as coach. Warne can stay with RR. I better like the option of Justin Langer as coach as I read something like that a few days ago.
Ramzz Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Well Warnie does back players to the hilt. It will be interesting, him coaching India then playing against tendu in the IPL...muhahahahaha
