Even Ricky Ponting won not one but 2 Wc's but did he have a vision for the future ....We all see the result....Ganguly took a young and inexperenced team mixed with a lot of youngsters to the finals of 2003 worldcup and 8 years after that half those team members are the seniors or major players n this winning squad. If Dhoni retains the cup in 2015 when some of the players have either retired or on the end of their careers he can definetely claim he is greater than Ganguly,Imran Khan,Mark Taylor,Clive Lloyd etc

You yourself said that they have made their Debut in the time frame Sourav was the Captain so yes they were youngsters. Even if you talk about 2003 WC you need to see how much Domestic experience they had, International Experience they had? Domestic experience helps a Lot, Pujara, Rahul, VVS, Sourav are classic examples.
