No Matter How many Captains, Players they Change, KKR Will continue to be the reason of Embarrassment for The Fans!

A packed Eden Gardens for the last few KKR matches is the proof that KKR fans have moved beyond Dada and are quite enjoying the run of their team. They finally get to see their team in the top 4, thats what fans want from their team and not counting number of points. As for Dada's KKR, Chris Gayle, Manoj Tiwary, Ishant Sharma, Iqbal Abdullah, Angelo Mathews etc, enough said.
Brendon McCullum as well.

It was the *****iest team of IPL under Dada' date=' now its less *****y. Still Its Shi!t.[/quote'] If Gauti selects his team properly they aren't ****. Poor captaincy by him and he should have gone with a spinner or kallis for the last over.

Spinner in last over? You must be kidding. Yes Kallis should have been perfect. Left arm spinners, bowling to franklyn was not the need of hour.

Well Manoj Tiary is currently in the form of his life, and you cant be comparing Yusuf's hitting abilities to that of Mathews. If its a comparison between Yusuf the all rounder and Matthews, still it not fair as Mathews was a medium pacer, Yusuf is a spinner, Yusuf suits the IPL more, than Mathews. I agree about Chris Gayle, but how many matches did he get? Not many. As for bowling is concerned, when you have Ishant and Agarkar playing for you, there is No total you can defend and restrict the oppositions in.

People are too harsh on Gauti's captaincy, but under the circumstances he is right in going to Balaji for final over. Given he was off-color yesterday, but he had taken a wicket in his previous over with a good delivery. He is also your strike bowler who is bowling well in the death this season. And also the required run is 21, which is expected to be defended by your strike bowler.

He has shown his death bowling skills very well. In the previous match he bowled 20th over took 2 for 7. It was one of those freak moments.

Completly disagree. 1st Gauti dont have any hindsight. He is proven that in all IPL matches. 2nd....Giving Balaji the last over..when he was clearly having a off night was beyond anything. Spinners had done a great job on that night...& Gauti goes to medium pacer to get the last 6 balls....instead of Pathan where edges (thats what Franklin got in the 1st 2 balls IMO) could have resulted in max 2 rather then 4. IMO Gauti mind works like this....if we have a small total to defend...he will use his best bowlers eg spinners to max. If he have a big total...like yesterday...he will give more overs to his struggling bowlers

They needed 21 runs, Most captains would consider the match in the bag. Franklin got lucky 3 times out of those 4 fours. Any other day and atleast one of them could have been out. The last ball was the biggest brainfart from Balaji. There is no way he should have tried to bowl a knee high full toss then

One thing I dislike about Gauti's captaincy is that when he looks to attack a new batsman,he does nothing special, just puts on a helmet and starts fielding at silly point, man you need to think beyond that sometime, same plan for every batsman doesnt work.

Do you think he bowled that full-toss intentionally ? Clearly pressure got on to him and his yorker went wrong terribly..

Another problem of Gauti is he starts showing his emotions on field. Yesterday too he was having a go at fielders. This also creates pressure on players and especially bowlers. And I can't help but compare him with Dhoni. I've never seen Dhoni losing his cool in pressure situations... :hail: Dhoni

Agreed....he goes all BC & MC on the fielders...but some of them deserve it or atleast deserve it in the sense that they never learn (although Gauti himself sets that poor example). Goswami...the KKR keeper..against PW game...he had a stupid moment..where when Dada try to sweep...got a bit of edge...the keeper..agreed didnt knew..& didnt caught it..but rather let the ball fall in hope that it hits the stumps. Ok till there....but I dont understand why he left his position & run up to the middle of the wicket forgetting the ball letting Ganguly easy single. Also in hte same match...while Ganguly tried went out of the wicket...& the ball was wide outside his leg...agreed there was a chance of runout...but by the time the keeper collected the ball..Ganguly was in..yet he try to act smart & throw the ball towards wicket...which resulted in a single. Now I expect that he learn from this silly mistake. But..against MI...last ball of 19 over...he once again throw the ball towards bowler end..with nobody backing.....& batsman inside the wicket....resulting in an overthrow. Had he been smart...then Ryadu would have been facing Balaji rather then Franklin. Hoping Goswami learn...because with these performances...he will never get his game to next level. These kind of keeper performance might force Gauti to play Boucher :nervous:
