South Africans make an impact

Woohoo! First few games of IPL done and I am exhausted Congrats to the CSK RR and RCB for their first wins As for me, I'm throwing my full support behind the South African contingent playing in this tournament Already making an impact, with Botha guiding RR home, followed by a blitzkrieg from AB to secure RCB win Albie batted well during his limited time at the crease, perhaps needs to move up the order? Feel bad for Steyn, bowled really well but had too few runs to work with Really have to wonder why DC didn't play Rusty Theron, known as the best death bowler in SA Also sorry for Kallis, played really well but saw his team fall by the wayside Looking forward to seeing Duminy improve, know he can be an asset when in form Anyway, looking forward to a great tournament :hatsoff:

If that's the case why wasn't he in the SA world cup squad?

I guess they are fresher than Indians, Lankans and Newzealanders :--D
Maybe, really would be a shame if your Indian players got overshadowed by foreigners so close after the world cup now wouldnt it? and before you make with the humour, dont forget who tripped you up in the group stages did I say that out loud? :angelic:

I hope we trip in the group stages as long as we win at the business end

he was too busy causing havoc in the 20/20 league back here honestly I've no idea, but he is a 20/20 specialist and its not like our fast bowling needed any more power

Plenty of saffers in the tournament... I'm interested to see if Langeveldt gets much action for RCB, another good limited overs bowler..Zaheer, Nannes and him would be a superb trio, but they'd have to drop another foreigner.. Du Plessis another good all-round player...

Well any team would want SA players in their line up' date='they are high class players and plus single SA player cant make the whole team choke :D[/quote'] :cantstop::cantstop::cantstop: Yes. The chi is maintained in a positive state. :om:

HaHa! Langeveldt is a Cape Cobra bowler our finest pace bowler even at the death won us the 20/20 trophy back here take it from someone who knows, RCB would be fools not to give him a run
