According to a player who witnessed the episode that took place between Akhtar and Akmal, it all began when the pacer shot four pointless overthrows over the stumper’s head. “What’s the matter with you,†Akmal was heard asking Akhtar. The pacer got angrier and decided to kick Akmal during the drinks break, an act which according to the player ‘took everyone by surprise’.
:whack: I would two if the keeper drops someone twice of your bowling and then they guy goe son to score a century hitting you for 30 in an over

Though Akmal deserved the kick and more, it is still a discipline issue and you cannot just assault or taunt a player for under performing. So the Pakistani team management was right in its approach to the issue

He should just have drugged Akmal and passed him on for a piss test.
:haha: That would have solved so many of our problems getting rid of that leach akmal..

Pics or it didn't happen. If cameras can pick up a slight scratch on a cricket ball then I am quite sure it can pick up a guy kicking the **** out of someone in the middle of the pitch. But then again... these jokers leave a lot to be desired and you cannot put anything past them. They are capable of doing virtually anything.

As said' date=' it was during the drinks break so which camera is on then?[/quote'] The cameras are still on and recording. Remember when Afridi was dancing on the pitch? Nobody but the Pakistan team was on the field. And if you notice sometimes the drinks break is shown on live tv from a distance but it still proves the cameras are running.
