No it is 80% reduction. 4 innings had unlimited quota of batting whereas even though its 2 innings in ODI you have only 50 overs limitation. Going by your logic it means there is no reduction in T20 and ODI as they both have 2 innings. THe main problem is you can not club ODI/Test, they both are different in every aspect whereas ODI and T20 are only different in number of overs respect. So a better analogy will be T20/ODI when compared to Test.
Think you've misunderstood the point i was trying to make. Test match ... 4 innings,, 400-450 overs. ODI .. 2 innings,, 100 overs So, on average per innings, a reduction of about 50%.

Fair Enough. But tell me do you really consider ODI's closer to Test, I think ODI and T20 are lot closer to each other if we consider the format. Test matches are entirely of different league.
