Gold 10 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I Personally Like T20. This version is very interesting and full of Exciting.
NareshK Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I can understand why people in general prefer T20 over ODIs. It gives exactly what most people love in a limited overs game. 6s, 4s, catches, wickets, exciting finishes in a span of 3 hours. To be honest, the middle part of an ODI game from 20th to 40th over is not that exciting with batsmen just trying to accumulate and taking singles and the bowlers just trying to restrict with defensive fields. In test matches on good wickets, usually captains always set attacking fields and bowlers try to pick wickets and batsmen try to score boundaries which makes interesting watching.
fineleg Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 1. Tests 2. Tests 3. Tests then ODI Tontee-tontee is :giggle:
urbestfriend Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Tests during Test season ODI during worldcup, champions trophy 20-20 during IPL/CL
Rahul Dravid Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 LOL at ppl liking t20.. shows how much cricket you know, and when u actually became a cricket fan... for me.. i used to love ODI's till the age of ard 14-15... then i got hooked to Test cricket and there was no looking back lol.. TEST CRICKET > ODI's + T20 + EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD.
philcric Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 good test >> good odi >> good t20 poor t20 > poor odi > poor test
ganeshran Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 good test >> good odi >> good t20 poor t20 > poor odi > poor test Spot on. :agree: T20 can be enjoyed regardless of quality of cricketers and the pitch. Tests can be very boring if players are not skilled and the pitch isnt sporting.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Tests. If time left - ODIs. and if Goddy is playing - Tontee Tontee Tamasha.
yoda Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 WC ODI >>>>>> test cricket on good wicket between good teams >>>>> International T20 >> IPL >>>>>> test cricket between crappy teams >>>>> meaningless bi lateral ODIs >>>>>>>> tuk-tuk test cricket on patta wickets a.k.a watching paint dry
Gotham Cronie Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Not sure why people are replying with "Tests". Yes, Test matches is for the big boy of cricket and it's the true test of one's skills, but the OP asked if you prefer "Twenty20 or ODI".
singhprakash72 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 TEST MATCH WITHOUT DOUBT....but preference between T20 vs ODI ..will go with ODI. T20 is too flashy without substance.ODI is much better than T20 but has its limitation too. T20 will definitely stay but its up to the cricket administrators to keep it in a place were it doesn't dilute Test match importance or hurt ODIs.
Retard Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Both forms are fantastic in its own way Too Much of T-20 leads to boredom especially IPL 4 far too many matches ( ridiculous 10 teams ) Even test matches leads to boredom when matches get draw
WC2011INDIA Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 good test >> good odi >> good t20 poor t20 > poor odi > poor test :two_thumbs_up:
yoda Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 good test >> good odi >> good t20 poor t20 > poor odi > poor test good one, altho I would rather watch a poor test than a poor ODI.
