Malcolm Merlyn Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 ICF as a policy doesnt allow religious disscussions. But members,Mods or Admins have been cricticising Sai Baba who is revered and worshipped by millions. His followers include people like SRT.But he can be ridiculed and abused, but if someone tries to cricticise MOhammed its wrong. Why?A Hindu Guru can be ridiculed but not a Muslim one.As the rule states, there shouldnt be a thread on either of them
Sachin=GOD Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Well, there have always been double standards here. If someone uses the word "Mudrassis" then some people are offended and so we are supposed to not use this word but the same people (Mods included) regularly use the word Midget for a particular player and have even gone on to the extent of saying that they would make sure that the anti-Midget law is not passed in ICF.

Otherwise they would have polled 'yes' in the kundalini poll :finger: Fake followers :acute:
yoda Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Good question. I will give a simple answer. If the ridicule/bashing is in line with the thinking of the moderators of the site, it continues to thrive.
Ram Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Since when did Sai Baba = religious figure? :hysterical:
EnterTheVoid Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 PK, I think he means the original sai baba of shirdi and not the satya sai Theres another satya sai clone called "Bala Sai Baba" -- this dude shoots shiva lingas out of his mouth. No bull ****, there's video footage of him doing it on YouTube
Stuge Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Since when did Sai Baba = religious figure? :hysterical: he would have been if he was born in 10th century . its all about who was born when .

nikred Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Since when did Sai Baba = religious figure? :hysterical: Well he definitely is a religious figure. I came across many people who worship him more than they worship the other hindu gods. He is estimated to have over 6 million followers.

My moral conscience is very clear, my friend. It is you, I am afraid, who needs to reconsider your positions to see if they’re consistent.
Ram Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Well he definitely is a religious figure. I came across many people who worship him more than they worship the other hindu gods. He is estimated to have over 6 million followers. And for the nth time, he may have a 1000 billion followers, but it still doesn’t make no difference to me whatsoever. Forget 6 million, there are 100s of millions in the Islamic world who revere Bin Laden. So what, we hold in a pedestal as well?

I personally have no issues with people bashing religion as long as they are not being hypocritical.

Personally speaking, there’s nothing more that I more pleasure out of, than to rant against the evils of organized religion. Unfortunately, such debates tend to get a bit ‘uncivilized’ here. Hence the stoic silence.
