broken_wings
Brad Haddin, the Australia and Kolkata Knight Riders wicketkeeper, has been ruled out of the rest of the IPL with a fractured finger. He has been replaced by South Africa wicketkeeper Mark Boucher, who was part of the IPL commentary team this season and represented Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first three editions. kabira
Boucher is many times better than Hodge, Finch etc. Hodge is suppose to be T20 specialist. I don't remember in 4 IPL seasons he has actually played even one good innings. Complete waste of space.

ViruRulez
Will Haddin replace him in the commentary box? I came to the thread to say that but it seems you made the comment earlier than me. :giggle: Just a couple of days back he was in commentary and now he is playing in a team. The other day somebody asked Brad Hogg during commentary if he would like to play IPL next year and he was having orgasm over the prospect and was like "sure, why not - that would be great". But then even the great Brian Lara also said yes to playing in IPL after retiring from cricket ages ago. :D At least our old players like Siddhu, Azhar and Sunny refused. Good that some sense prevailed amongst the retired Indian cricketers at least but the international players are almost willing to come out of retirement just to play IPL. :giggle:

Complete waste of space.[/quote'] Yes.. and every time he comes into the crease, we are told he is the highest run scorer in T20 cricket. :hysterical: Looks absolutely clueless in this form of the game. VVS is anyday better than him. Kochi should use VVS's services straightaway and get murali in as a foreign quota player
