Looks like it will be another blockbuster if the box office collections remain steady even for a week or two. When is Delhi Belly releasing. Probably Ready will lose the race as soon as Delhi Belly arrives or at least lower its collection.

I dare say that it comes naturally to him. Again, I'm not saying that Salman is a better actor than Aamir. All I'm saying is that in Andaaz Apna Apna, Salman was the better actor/ made me laugh more and his body language/ dialogue delivery exuded a certain sense of stupid vulnerability which made me laugh. To Aamir, all that didn't come as effortlessly.

The .5 is for the songs You have a very low threshold for pain. :D What were your expectations from ' Ready' before you saw it? Did you expect meaningful, thought invoking cinema? A major reason for your disappointment could be because of your unreasonable expectations. You can't really expect a movie that is titled "Ready" , and stars Salman Khan to fulfill a deeper cinematic need to connect with social reality. I've already seen it thrice in the hall. My expectations were in place and I enjoyed the movie. :D

Does the UK even have a film industry? Is their film industry ( on an overall level) even commercially self supporting? Or do they live off on grants from Hollywood/ others? I mean they make one good commercially successful movie in 300 years. The last reasonably good British movie I saw was " Four weddings and a Funeral".

I do actually like serious thought provoking cinema. I just can't watch this kind of stuff and therefore I don't. My opinion about the tamil industry is exactly the same as the hindi industry. What you call "comedy" is largely gross, bumbling stupidity with no element of wit or intelligence. It you truly want to watch great humour, I suggest some epic series like Monty Python or Rowan Atkinson as Edmund Blackadder etc etc. Does the UK even have a film industry? India had a pretty fantastic movie industry in the past but since the 90s it has all gone to dogs. The good movies are too few and far between to constantly watch all the other drivel they dish out. Be it comic timing, dialogue delivery, body language, acting and even dance. Mohtarma, yeh kaun si "andaaz apna apna" ki baat kar rahi hain aap - jo movie maine dekhi thi usme toh Aamir Khan ne har department mein Salamn Khan ko dho daala tha. As far as acting, timing, dialogue delivery etc goes, Aamir Khan outperformed Salman in every department in that movie IMO :--D

Where did I say that?:winky: I was merely practicing a debating technique I came across on these forums; wherein an off topic, factually wrong but reaction provoking generalization is introduced into an argument . Generally at the expense of Indians/India. eg: Indian culture is this/that in a thread about a fired cheerleader. Indian population is stupid/dumb and has not understood democracy in a thread about Baba Ramdev's agitation. etc.
