Fontaine Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 It was good to see Bishoo and Rampaul really bowling some good consistent lines. The pitch was difficult to bat on and Pak batsmen made a mess of it but nonetheless those bowlers really bowled in the right areas again and again.

Facts don't support your assertion/opinion. WI hadn't won a odi against a Test playing nation since Jun 2009 and the less said about their performances in Tests the better. On the other hand India happen to be ranked 1 in Tests and are World Champions. I am sure they got there with a bowling lineup "worse than Windies". This lineup is only looking good coz they are playing Pakis :cantstop: As for "hostility" we will see what he does when he faces the Indian team in Tests. its fascinating to observe the mentality of some indians. no matter how well they do their only source of happiness comes from the suffering of their neighbors. And did you notice that most of the wkts fell during power-play when India were trying to accelerate. Now in Tests I would love to see how Rampaul does. By the way you are almost sounding like a Paki fan - "did you see that our phaaaast bowler took 5 wkts even though we lost by an innings"

Dude do you really expect ppl to comprehend these stats when they say "WI bowling is stronger than India" knowing fully well India are ranked no. 1 in Tests and recently won the world cup? For them the Indian bowlers don't win the Tests. When Indian bowlers bowl out SA for 120 odd to win a Test it's coz of "pitch" but when SA does the same it's coz of "quality SA bowling". We have seen the same trend when Ind beat Eng in Eng, when Ind toured SA, when Ind beat NZ in NZ, WI in WI etc. and when India thrashed Aus when Aus toured India. For them the likes of Sammy & Rampaul are better than Zaheer, Sreesanth, Zaheer in Tests coz Rampaul took 5 wkts in an odi, and Bishoo much better than Harbhajan coz Bishoo took 4 wkts against Paki lineup in one innings.
