i dont quite see whats so amusing. sir aggy is the greatest thing since sliced bread and should be back in the squad at the expense of one of the tundlers.

gilchrist is miles ahead of the other two. as others have mentioned, he's a big match player and has that ability to rise to the occasion. yeah yuvraj may have comparable stats, but don't forget he plays mostly on subcontinent flat tracks while gilchrist had to deal with the likes of WACA and gabba pitches most of the time.

From the three above, my fave is Gayle for pure power play and intimidation...on his day the biggest, meanest, and more brutal of players. But in terms of a player in their brackets in odi, only one stands above all else through history...for pure continuous destruction, you know, the opposition know if he plays at least 30 balls he will score a fifty. To maintain a strike-rate of 100+ through his career is amazing.

Any comparison here is very much flawed. Chris Gayle plays with a bunch of loosers. So practically win or loss depends on him. Each time he goes to bat, if he get out game is gone, If he doesn't scores quick enough team will fall behind in run rate. Gilly... Outsanding, If you think he plays as wicketkeeper Aussies only started to loose after his retirement. That doesnt mean he was only one influencing the win. All runs he scored were under no pressure. he is a achiever. Yuvaraj. He is a quality that he can win a series, not just a game. He played as second best becuse he started playing with golden four. Peer pressure was too much. He probably never believed till T20 world cup win that how good he can be. . To me, He is better batsman then all. But Gilly probably wins the race just because wicket keeping is very important aspect of cricket and he got to play so many test matches. But Gayle and Yuvi are still playing. If we defend our title then probably Yuvi becomes best even without those test caps But Just as a bat, Gayle probably wins the race

:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Gayle is a minnow basher in ODIs.
