Won't wash. Why did he order a toxicology report when the pathologist reported "manual strangulation?" Why did he turn down the chance to request a second post mortem? I'm afraid he can't wash his hands off this.

I would like to think the major fault is on the patholohist. Even if there was .1% suspicion of a murder according to the pathologist's report , the police have to pursue it. If they didnt do that , they would have been absolutely lambasted if some controversy popped up the future. And whats rong is ordering a toxicology report ? maybe he thought woolmer was drugged/poisoned to semi-consciousness before being strangled. But this is the most embarrasing thing that could have happned to the jamaican police. they have lost credibility world wide

Sorry for posting this...He is an Indian dcotor working in Jamaica. Mistakes can happen....Thats why you take second opinion... But in major coverups....it looks like this guy is becoming the Fall Guy

Feel sorry for the pathologist. Yes he slipped and made a wrong verdict but the police chief hogged all the lime light though. Now he is simply shifting the blame. Why didn't he opt for a second opinion in the very first place as Dhondy asked above? BTW the first thing Dhondy mentioned right after the murder was Indian pathologist conducting the tests. He did mention he will have too cop a bit in the end. Dhondy for prophecies :lightbulb: You sure you don't have Mayan roots Dhondy

The pathologist may have made a mistake ......but the credit for taking that mistake and turning it into a soap opera goes only to the mr shields alone.
