mishra Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 How can a on field umpire implement 15 degree rule when they cant even judge most of run outs. It was introduced as a joke only. I think everyone now bowls legal doosara. Ajamal is bringing it to new level. Thats all
Rana Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Ajmal cannot break into any Indian team any format any day any place. Yes ofcourse he doesnt need to break, he will be welcomed. Ajmal will make any team in the world.
Rana Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 See the jealousy, pakistan has a match-winner spinner! Indians are burning inside, because in about 2 years time, there will be no Teenda or Dravid or Laxnman to takle him lol. Sehwag hasnt even faced him, yet i can see him bowled.

In Australia he averages 111 In NZ he averaged 58 In UAE against SA he averaged 66 Dude.. get real... A 34(real 40) year old grandpa just got his 50th wicket thanks to a series against a mediocre Z grade west indies side. And we have to be shaking in boots about him.

Of course man...don't you know that Ajmal 'raped' Tendulkar in the World Cup?

Apparently he has already seen Sehwag getting bowled,he has forgotten how this match winner bowler's master was finished by Sehwag :cantstop: :cantstop: http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64081.html?view=pvp 91 runs of 80 balls :hehe: Bring on the student now ,says Sehwag :hehe::hehe:
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Of course man...don't you know that Ajmal 'raped' Tendulkar in the World Cup? Then who is the spinner who opened the innings for Rajasthan royals. He also beat Sachin neck and crop few times. :cantstop: If beating Tendulkar is the criteria to be called a matchwinner... there is a long list. Ishant made bunny out of Punter in Test matches.

Malcolm Merlyn Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Ajmal bends it more than anyone else.ICC needs to look at his action in actual matches at he may reduce the bend and try not to spin the doosra as much he does in match conditions Saqi was the only one who used to bowl it legally.
Stuge Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 hmm this is stupid .If the bowling is within permissible limits than why all this debate .
jairamesh Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 hmm this is stupid .If the bowling is within permissible limits than why all this debate . I think that's the problem, the subject aka "chucker" under Lab conditions can (and WILL) alter their bowling action compared to the real-time matches, to satisfy the 15° allowable limit. Another issue is: Long Sleeve T-shirts, all these chuckers (Botha, Bhajji, Ajmal, Saqlain) play(ed) their cricket wearing long-sleeve t-shirts making it difficult to measure their bending arm in real-time as opposed to Lab conditions. Botha is a perfect example, he wears Long-sleeve t-shirt when bowling, and changes to short-sleeve when batting in the same game. Either ban doosras or change the rule to a higher allowable limit, until then if a crude measuring technique of using a protractor shows a bend angle of 35°! (a error margin of over 100% on 15°, more than 15° to 20° would have acceptable, but 35°! that's crazy) then there something wrong with Ajmal's action and all wickets taken with the doosra should illegitimate, including any bowler who have taken wickets with a doosra.
Pak_Forever Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Suck it up! Awesome Ajmal is very lethal with his non-doosra deliveries too. ICC will call him if there's a problem, until then zip it and don't cry about it. There are many more blatant chuckers bowling in international and mickey mouse tournaments.
Utalk Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Seriously guys there is no need for this on a cricket forum.
Cricket Tragic Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 ^I agree. Make fun of players, teams and all that but stick to cricket. There is no need to bring in unrelated things into the discussion.
Alchemist Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I dont know what the problem is. The ICC is not saying anything. Why are other people complaining. Its not like current WI can play spin better without doosra. Even hrishikesh Kanitkar will look like a world beater in front of them.
desi pride 4321 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 why chucking or cheating is always connected with pak? absolute disgrace.
mishra Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 All that is needed is ICC appoints neutral Daryl Harper to umpire one of these Ajmal game. He is better than machines and cameras picking up on bowling action, bowl condition and player intentions :haha: I bet it wont be Richards or Holding complaining after that.

I think Daryl Hair needs to make a return, should be the right person to judge Chuckmal's action and would not back down to call a "no-ball".
