Sid Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Gauti > Ganguly Kallis> Mathews Tendo > Hodge Pathan > Pujara Saha > Goswami Dinda> Bhatia Lee=Bond Shah= Shakib[all round efforts] Balaji> Ishant Mathooz > Kallis (Batting in T20) Hodge = Tendo
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 You you need to see the players availability. apart from Morgan no one left in the middle. No one joined too. Also you have to look at the form. Yusuf pathan has been poor these days. He is nowhere close how he was in the last season. It is not enough having a player who is available consistently. it is important to have players who play consistently. He backed Morgan as much as posisble. Look at the returns.
Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 In that match Ganguly saved Bond for Yusuf Pathan. Before that they had reached 80 in 9 overs :phehehe: Its not wrong, Yusuf is the main threat from that RR team. Others are unknown, you couldnt have done much being in Ganguly's shoes. Of course unless you are unbiased.

Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Mathooz > Kallis (Batting in T20) Hodge = Tendo Disagree, Mathhews is a trundler, you cant trust him as a bowler in 20-20. Hodge=Tendo? No. Hodge takes much time to settle in, much what Ganguly used to do, Tendo starts scoring much early. You need to check stats.
littlemaster1982 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Andy trying hard to prove Dada is a better captain :hehe:
Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 But you don't hold your ace bowler right till 9th over do you. No, but I just checked Bond picked up the wicket of faisal in the fifth over itself. What are you on about then? :hmmmm:
Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Andy trying hard to prove Dada is a better captain :hehe: I dont need to prove Unless you are 'Naive' to the game.
Sid Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Disagree' date=' [b']Mathhews is a trundler, you cant trust him as a bowler in 20-20. Hodge=Tendo? No. Hodge takes much time to settle in, much what Ganguly used to do, Tendo starts scoring much early. You need to check stats. Mathooz > Kallis (Batting in T20) And Hodge is equal to Tendo as he bowls spin as well and is equally a good batsman.Tendo didnt play that much this year so no point looking at the stats.

It is not enough having a player who is available consistently. it is important to have players who play consistently. He backed Morgan as much as posisble. Look at the returns. He may not be in that sort of form but regularly scoring 20-30s. a qucikfire 25-30 runs always helps when you are off to a solid start. Even in the match against MI both the matches his contribution was around 25-30 runs.
littlemaster1982 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I dont need to prove Unless you are 'Naive' to the game. Oh yeah :haha: *Results* speak more than anything.
Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 And Hodge is equal to Tendo as he bowls spin as well and is equally a good batsman.Tendo didnt play that much this year so no point looking at the stats. Kallis is a consistent scorer at the top , than inconsistent mathews, so I would take kallis over him anyday, Plus as bowler he is better than what mathews has to offer. Hodge bowls spin, but even Tendulkar can bowl spin. whats your point? even if you replace Tendo with Morgan you'll see. Not much between Hodge and Morgan.
Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Oh yeah :haha: *Results* speak more than anything. Can MSD make NZ world Champions? YES or NO?
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 No' date=' but I just checked Bond picked up the wicket of faisal in the fifth over itself. What are you on about then? :hmmmm:[/quote'] My bad. But once some of the players left KKR they started doing well. Gayle, McCullum Ishant. Once Kallis joined KKR even his orange cup hunting failed. Morgan failed big time here. Once he is back he scores an 193. :cantstop: . With captain chance a small progress. Just like you say KKR should have won more games,, MI fans would say MI should have won more games, CSK fans would say CSK should have won more games, PWXI fans wuold say PWXI should have won more games. You win some you lose some. Once you are down to last 4 it is a fresh start. You don't think Dhoni never made any mistake or Tendulkar didn't make any mistake or Vettori didn't make any mistake. All the three have been international test captains. On this day Mumbai Indians outplayed KKR for the best part of the match. I do not think they are even 4rd best side the IPL on paper. Infact Pune warrior had much better fire power than KKR.
Sid Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Kallis is a consistent scorer at the top , than inconsistent mathews, so I would take kallis over him anyday, Plus as bowler he is better than what mathews has to offer. Hodge bowls spin, but even Tendulkar can bowl spin. whats your point? even if you replace Tendo with Morgan you'll see. Not much between Hodge and Morgan. Hodge has batted and bowled pretty well for Tuskers,Gayle has played for RCB ,Mccllum has played for Tuskers,Saha has played well for CSK ,goes to show all of them were good players but somehow didnt enjoy and perform when playing for KKR :hehe:

He often pushes the run rate required to impossible levels and allows the team to collapse.
littlemaster1982 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Can MSD make NZ world Champions? YES or NO? Hypothetical question. Anyway, I think yes. To turn the question to you, do you think Ganguly could have made CSK into semi's four times in a row?
Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Hodge has batted and bowled pretty well for Tuskers' date='Gayle has played for RCB ,Mccllum has played for Tuskers,Saha has played well for CSK ,goes to show all of them were good players but somehow didnt enjoy and perform when playing for KKR :hehe:[/quote'] Gain your are coming to Mcculum and Gayle, you dood need to see how many matches they played and about Saha i have already said he was better. Hodge played better because he was not in KKR, even Kallis played better for RCB :giggle:

Andy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Kallis is a silent villain. He often pushes the run rate required to impossible levels and allows the team to collapse. that gives you a platform to accelerate, Imagine had KKR lost only two wickets till the 10 over[ Though kallis played, just the Utility he offers] KKR could have scored 15-20 more?
