I'm genuinely disappointed that Sachin has opted out. Not seen much of either but it seems as if Rahane should have got the nod ahead of Mukund. What the hell does Rayudu have to do to earn a place in the ODI set up, it is clear that the selectors have still not forgiven him for defecting to the ICL. Raina and Parthiv Patel in the test squad :hysterical: Raina should be nowhere near the test team, he looked scared of the short ball in South Africa, he is a superb limited overs player but he has to iron out his deficiencies in tests. All i can say is that Pujara must be injured.

I don't understand you guys, is your thinking this limited? In the next few months SRT etc is going to retire what are you lot going to do then? Whine and moan like beetches? Here is an opportunity for the youngsters to go there and grab his place, one of them will and he will carry the future for India. That is what a series like this is supposed to be. JEEEZZZZ, Losers...

You are missing the point. If he retires from cricket today, no issues. He has been a champion for India for the last twenty years but no one can go on forever. But his decision to sit out a Test series after playing two full months of a domestic Twenty20 tournament doesn't sit well with me as an Indian fan, particularly as Sachin had never previously skipped a Test series in his career. IPL fans will argue differently of course and I accept the money is huge for the players, but we're all entitled to our opinions.
