"New Delhi: Stepping up his attack on Baba Ramdev, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Friday alleged that RSS was behind the yoga guru's indefinite fast beginning on Saturday. Frowning upon the protest action by the Baba, Singh agreed with a questioner that the Yoga guru was playing politics. "If you want to teach yoga, I have no problem ,but if you want to do politics, then join the fray". Singh, who has been speaking against Ramdev despite a virtual gag order by the party, alleged that it has been crystal clear that the RSS volunteers were behind the Baba's protest action. "Right from putting up the pandal to organise the meetings, everywhere there is RSS," he told reporters. Singh had on Thursday dubbed Ramdev of being "more of a businessman than a Sanyasi". Singh also took a dig at K N Govindacharya for choosing Ramdev for launching the anti-corruption campaign saying that this was not expected from the RSS ideologue. The Congress leader also sought to find faults with the method of teaching yoga by Ramdev saying that several yoga experts have expressed reservation on it. 1983-2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 At least Digvijay singh got it right, Ramdev is a poltical tool for BJP and Sena who they are trying to portray as a clean character. he will soon be exposed, just wait for some IT raids on his ashrams. how could he keep his crowd in dark when he made the written agreement with government and agreed to call of his fast and later do a u turn.

They jumped on the bandwagon after they realized that the movement was going to be successful.

Okay so now you are changing tempo. So he is no longer a right winger, but why did he share stage with "accused in babri masjid demolition case" ? Ofcourse it was wrong move. But that still does not take anything way from credibility of the issue. On the contrary, question should be asked of you too. Simply because he shared stage with that Sadhvi which was wrong but is not endorsement of Babri demolition, you want public institutions to be used against him and find him guilty. Of course you have no evidence of his guilt. How are you non communal ?

asterix Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Babri Masjid accoused means what? Has the court(s) charged them as criminals? If they are criminals, why are they allowed to roam freely? They should be in the jail with people like Kalmadi, Raja etc. I would be concerned if Ramdev shared the stage with somebody like Kalmadi or Raja (on bail). If Babri Masjid accuseds (so called) have no right to protest then the 1984 Sikh Massacre accuseds have no right to be in the Govt. and in Politics..
kabira Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Well its well known fact, RSS leaders and BJP leader met Baba month or two ago and showed their support for the campaign. RSS clearly wanted to support him as long as he does not open a new political party, when he opens the political party, RSS will stop supporting him
