The God Delusion Its not about the Bike The Code Book - Excellent book on history of cryptography, not technical at all. Tipping Point. Godfather was a masterpiece. Between the movie and the book, Id chose the book even though its very close. Omerta by Puzo was good too.

ganeshran Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Dark arena also very good.. Never read that one. Almost all of Mario Puzo's books are extremely good. Ya, he is extremely underrated as an author. Hardly any of his other books made a mark like Godfather did and they were quite decent.

North Sea Tiger Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Cauldron by Larry Bond - An imaginative account of the beginning of WWIII. Couple of chapters dedicated to mid-air dog fights! The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth - One of the best Manhunt books out there. River God by Wilbur Smith - A novel set in ancient Egypt, narrates the introduction of horses into Egypt and several chapters dedicated to Chariot Fights. Filth by Irvine Welsh - Two main characters, one is an obnoxious, druggie, racist, womanising policeman and the other is a tapeworm! King Rat by James Clavell - Classic WWII drama set in Changi prison. Depicts survival instincts in extreme hardship.
