Temujin Khaghan Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 bhajji is not even taking a one match break because of ashwin threat... he is not even letting ashwin get a sniff at real cricket. because of this... dhoni kept trying piyush as a second spinner in the WC... even wen bhajji was rusty in the initial stages. i wonder if bhajji will take a break if we take 3-0 lead in this tour.
gaurav92 Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011  There was already a thread for this and this can be easily discussed there. In fact its already been discussed there.
King Tendulkar Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Bloody hell. The guy is so committed to playing for his country. Others are taking a holiday and he still is desperate to pull on his indian jersey and yet gets slammed for wanting to play for India at every opprtunity. Yes Bhaji shoulkd be more focused on IPL and not be desperate to play in this indian national team tamasha!

Yes Bhaji shoulkd be more focused on IPL and not be desperate to play in this indian national team tamasha! Why do you bring in the Jaszba and Junoon factor into everything ? Yes he is desperate to play for India, so what ? Everyone is. Big deal ? The reason other seniors pulled out of the tour was because of injuries and a long calender of Cricket ahead. They wanted to take a break by not playing in this "not so important" tour. We all know that our second string side is better than this sh!tty Windies side. Bhajji should have taken a break from the ODIs to give Ashwin the youngster some chance to get some confidence. But Bhajji didn't. Instead he made sure he gets some wickets as a defense when anyone questions his form after a rather disappointing World Cup. I think Harbhajan should have rested this tour and given Adshwin the chances he deserves. I am sure Bhajji is not the bowler what he used to be. His bowling in ODIs is far too defensive an stats prove it. Yes he is economical, but if you are getting a bowler who takes wickets coupled with a decent Economy rate (Ashwin) , I would be inclined to pick him ahead of the so called premier spinner. Having said that, it would be unfair to say the same on his Test Career. He is still our premier spin bowler and has won us good number of matches. He should play only limited ODIs and let the youngster have his moments in ODI Cricket.

Laughable at best. Bhajji hardly played a few ODIs in whole of 2010. Was there no threat at that time or what? And the rest of it is the usual conspiracy theory without any substance in it.
King Tendulkar Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Cant believe someone is getting criticised for wanting to play for his country. In fact he is greedy to play for India, WHAT THE F IS WRONG WITH THAT! He should be praised to the skies for not pulling out and wanting desperatley to play for the mother land! He should be praised untold for being greedy to play for India. Instead he is getting hammered for wanting to play for India and for not dropping out!!! yeah what an A hole he is for playing for India. Credit should go to his physical and mental stamina for playing , unlike others who have fallen by the wayside or have shown much more commitmment to IPL. Also it is selctors duty to see if they want to try others out. Its not Bhaji duty to say "hey I am going to drop out as I want other spinners to play to see if they should take my place". The mob are getting ridiculous now!

Temujin Khaghan Posted June 11, 2011 Author Posted June 11, 2011 seriously... does no one get the meaning of irony these days...????...!!!... there are threads flying all over the place with bhajji this and bhajji that then i make this... tadaaaaaaaaaa... got the hint? :( **** u all!
pensionplan Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 bhajji is not even taking a one match break because of ashwin threat... he is not even letting ashwin get a sniff at real cricket. That is way too obvious. Especially in the recent past. Ashwin in ODI's and Ojha in Tests should be the preferred No.1 choice spinners over the guy who throws darts as he pleases. That Ashwin is not even in the playing XI for the first three ODI's is ridiculous.
Jersey #10 Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Bhajjis not as mediocre as some are making him to be. He is still our best spinner and well ahead of ashwin.
yoda Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Mishra may be give him a run for the 1st spinner spot if he keeps up his current performance.
